Looks great. If you raised the hutch off the floor on blocks, the buns would have that extra floor space to play in and could have a step or ramp into the hutch
Hi great idea for the shed and run, ive watched the hutch is not enough campaign, my two bunnies have a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft hutch on top of a 6ft x 4ft x 2ft run, they love running around and are there all day until about 8pm and can run up and down inbetween the two
yah I just asked my dad today if he could make me a shed with a run, and he said yes right away!!! and then I showed my dad one of your 2013 shed tours and he said that he would try to make it some what the same layout as yours!!! Question #1: Where did you get your run that's attached to the shed? Question #2: Would it be worth it to buy a hutch to put in the shed?
I keep my guinea pigs at my stables and I am converting my wendy-house into a guinea pig mansion! :) This video was just what I was looking for and has helped me alot! Thanks xXx :) -Amz, Fred &Barney
some people dont have the room for a shed i have a 5ft double hutch for my 2 bunnys and i get home from school at 3 so as soon as i get in i let them out from 3 till about 6 every day sometimes its even longer and we have a huge garden and to be honest my rabbits are getting quite old now and when i let them out they lie down and dont really do much running anyway so i think as long as they are not allways shut in the hutch there is no problem mine are out every day of the week and sunday
@ChantellesRabbits Hiya the bunnies are being neutered on the 23rd march. My vets is called Fivelands vets. They have three vets in Birmingham. Yardley, Hall Green and Moseley. I have been going to the one in Yardley for nearly 9 years now. They are great there. Ive had my dogs spayed there but never any rabbits so ill let you know how i get on x
We have a Good Sized Shed in our Backyard and I want a Rabbit, all we need to do is Clean it out and put some doors on it and Bam! A wonderful Shed! (I would also add a run) but my parents aren't being cooperative...
Rabbits need grass to nibble on and run about in. Ours have a 5m x 2.5m grass run as well as a good quality and spacious hutch. If you can't provide at least that for your rabbits, please consider before you buy them.
@lucy1666 Hiya thank you! They do have another 6ft run aswell but we are moving house soon so cant put it up at the mo. My vet charges £61 each for the buns.
@snowy1617 that sounds like a great hutch and run for your bunnies. i bet they are very happy :-) I love having a shed as i can stand up in it in all weather conditions lol. x
i had rabbits and they both saddly died not long ago, my rabbits had the run of our hole house, and they had a run for the summer, but they dident use it much xx
I’m looking into buying a shed for my buns, suppose I didn’t have the outdoor bit, would there still be enough ventilation as I know sometimes sheds can get very hot. I want to get a 8’ by 6’ shed
@beautifulpandagirl Hi, no shed is too big for a bunny. The bigger the better really hehe. You could corner off one section of the shed to put your garden stuff it (just make sure the bunny cant get to it). Or like me i just bought a new shed for them. Hope i helped :D
My mum wouldn't let me let them in the shed because we didn't think they liked the dark at night. And where did you get all your fleeces from? And did you have to cut a hole in the outside run so they could get in and out???
There is also way too many dangerous insects where I live and there is enough getting in to her current room so I would be really concerned about that.
Hi :) i was thinking of converting my shed into my rabbit house but would it be too big for 1 rabbit ? and have u got any ideas where i could put my garden stuff :) thankyou :)
You can really tell that you care for and love your bunnies 💜
Were getting a shed for the bunnies when we move in June. So Happy. You have an awesome shed.
I lost 15 rabbits to a dog that got in their hutch so I bought them a 200sqf shed. It was about $3000 but I never have to lose rabbits again
Looks great. If you raised the hutch off the floor on blocks, the buns would have that extra floor space to play in and could have a step or ramp into the hutch
Watching this 11 years down the line and thinking wow those prices are good.

I'm going to be getting a shed from lowes and I'm going to build a run for it and its going to be for my bunnies :)

love your videos, love your shed, love how you have changed it into a rabbit hutch.
@snowy1617 that sounds like a great hutch and run for your bunnies. i bet they are very happy :-) I love having a shed as i can stand up in it in all weather conditions lol. x
Sheds are nice. But I really think free range is the best honestly.
i had rabbits and they both saddly died not long ago, my rabbits had the run of our hole house, and they had a run for the summer, but they dident use it much xx

They do get very hot in the summer. You would at least need the leave the door open in the summer.

Is it ok to have a shed with a hole in it so the bunny rabbits can go in the garden on there own
I don't see why not, but if it was me I wouldn't because of foxes and animals that kill rabbits :)
yes but predators will get in
my dad built a big shed that is two story but we fenced of a good but so its big enough for my four rabbits :)
i think it would be a good idea, not too sure but i know thaat C&C cages are really good so i do not see why sheds would not be great!
I love all your videos and the shed!
My mum wouldn't let me let them in the shed because we didn't think they liked the dark at night. And where did you get all your fleeces from? And did you have to cut a hole in the outside run so they could get in and out???
yah she cut a hole in the shed so the rabbits could get in and out
do u think it is a good idea for guinea pigs to live in a shed
But most sheds would be downsizing for me haha
There is also way too many dangerous insects where I live and there is enough getting in to her current room so I would be really concerned about that.
