- Water washable resin could be a decent alternative for people who don't want to deal with strong alcohol fumes. In this video, I test out 3 water washable resins from Jamg He. I'm testing high clear, clear green and black resins and see how they hold up compared to traditional 3D printing resins.

I like the Batman, but, what's with the back? It looks like it's been cut off flat. Was that a fail or where it was scraped off the plate? Looks like it should be complete and the bottom would be the part attached to the plate. Thank you.
I've been using exclusively water washable because alcohol fumes make me dizzy. If you always remember that resin is resin and toxic, then the benefit is that you don't have the IPA VOCs to deal with - those are pretty dangerous too, so cutting that toxicity from your environment is a big win.
Have you tried using a flex plate? I bought a wham bam flex plate when I got the jupiter se. I will only use water washable.i will still use p.p.e. but water is less expensive than iPa lol. Thanks for the video
I haven't, but I need to get one. I think all resin printers should start coming with flex plates for safety reasons.
Agreed my neptune 4 max came with one installed.been lucky though I haven't had a print stuck for me to pull it off.im still skimming threw your vids.you should make a video comparing cheaper amazon flex plates to the more pricey ones like wham bam.
I'd also say that I have noticed brittleness from my minis - definitely don't drop them! The other thing is it seems difficult to wash out uncured resin from hollow figures. Once I added 10% IPA to my water, that became much easier, so it seems water washable resin is still a little easier to wash if there's a tiny amount of IPA in your wash station.
How do you go about disposing of your water? Do you leave it in the sun like IPA or is it a different process?
@@FigureFeedback I leave it in the sun and filter the cured bits. Works well.
#1 Recommendation to resiniers.......GET A FLEXI-PLATE......chiseling is for the birds.....
