- After going all inclusive here we need to make the most of it. So it's a day by the pool enjoying the drinks and food whilst we can. Then we head off to the harbour where things take a turn for the worse when Mazzy isn't feeling too good. Don't Panic! She will be fine.

Poor Mazzy. Caffeine is one of the worst things for accentuating panic/anxiety attacks. I know Mazzy drinks decaffeinated tea but I'm sorry to let you know that Coke etc is brimming with caffeine. One of the best things for alleviating attacks is distraction; I hope you get to go on the open top bus etc. Mazzy is doing the right thing by getting back out. Swimming also great for distraction. Hope you're both having a lovely evening xx
Mazzy you could be a little bit dehydrated, even though you’ve been drinking plenty it can still happen, it’s to do with salts and electrolytes, if there’s a chemist nearby you should be able to find some sachets that you just mix with a measure of water. Being dehydrated can increase levels of anxiety and makes you feel jittery, actually has a range of symptoms. Next time you’re on holiday pack a box of dioralyte, there are other brands but that one is the more pleasant tasting one. Hope you feel better soon. Panic attacks are horrible , sometimes you don’t know what causes it. We have a big Tesco’s store near us, every time I go in I feel ill.. it’s so big and echoey it reminds me of the swimming pool we had to go to as kids, the teachers were horrible and I never learnt to swim! Tomorrow I’m going to Tesco’s on my own, I think I’ll be much better then when I go with my husband as I get what I need and go home… he has to look at every aisle 🙄 Last week I was going to give up on going, but I feel I need to do it on my own. I hope your feeling better x

its 111 F here in Tennessee today. Mazzy I send you good vibes and warm thoughts dealing with panic attacks, I had one once when I was homeless. I had this sudden overpowering feeling of hopelessness, like i wasn't sure of where to go, how was I going to survive the next few days. Thank God a friend was with me and helped me to cope and gave me encouraging words till I felt some hope. My panic attack may have been different than others, I cant say but I HOPE SHARING HELPS.

Maybe because you got off the treadmill today and took some time for yourselves around the pool to relax, and then went off walking out again. It could be your body telling you to slow down a bit.

My sister lives in a village called Mandrea just outside Paphos and there is a big five star complex called Aphrodite Sands there. It’s very pretty there.
Enjoy the rest of your time there and spend some rest time as you both work so hard and deserve it.

Splash cold water in your face,or hold an ice cube in your hand ,helps bring your attention to something else with the panic attacks,also I put Vic's vapo all aver my neck ,which used to make me feel I can breathe easier,hence calming the panic ,sending strength to overcome them xx
Hi Dan and Mazzy. Hope that you are both feeling Ok. Those crickets. I call them grasshoppers. They are very loud. I wouldn’t know what to eat. all the food looks delicious. The restaurants all look very nice 👍🥰❤️

Ahhhh Mazzy I know exactly what you mean I suffer with lanic attacks and anxiety and have to make my self go out. mindfullness has really helped me . But it is hard and fighting them can be exhausting.

I feel for you Mazzy...I have panic attacks and all I want is home when I feel it. The attacks have become worse since my mastectomy. There is no logic to when I am going to have one. Take your time lovely. xx

Dan if your knee pain is in the joint it could be due to drinking too much orange juice,I suffered the same and my doctor told me to stop drinking orange juice products because there is something in it that attacks the joints,mine cleared up pretty quickly,if you don't drink a lot of it just ignore this comment lol
Orange Juice, ha ha ha! Too much John Smith's is my guess. Beer is high in Purines which break down to Uric Acid and build up in your joints.
@@William_Hada trust me so does fruit juice,it's the sweeteners in them like fructose I think it's called, doesn't affect everyone but it does some ,I suffered for a few years then cut all the orange and other juices out and the pains stopped

Hi Mazzy and Dan. Mazzy i suffer with panic attacks and it happens when i get to hot, it happens in an instant and its horrendous. I can't go in a lift or small spaces., and i cry and have to get out into the fresh air, then im fine. The doctor put me on Sertraline and got to be honest its helped me no end. you both have a lovely suntan, im envious lol. Anyway you take it easy and enjoy. xx

Hi Mazzy my son had a problem with his heart and the docs told him that coke is full of caffeine, he hasn’t drunk any since x

Hi Both. Sympathise with your panic attack Mazzy. I used to get them a lot when I was younger…..terrifying. Used tranquillisers for years to control them before GPs stopped giving them. Controlled them then by controlled breathing. Luckily I seem to have stopped getting them. Hope you can enjoy rest of your day. Take care.😻

Mazzy I took panic attacks when I was on holiday in Spain they were really bad I thought I was going to die I was really bad for drinking coffee and coke my daughter come to our room and took one look at me and said mam it's all that coffee and coke your drinking so I went on decaf coffee and coke and I haven't had a attacks since

Try the Greek food! Kleftico is slow cooked lamb Stifado is a stew with baby onions flavoured with cinnamon, bloody lovely. Souvlaki is meat on a skewer served with rice or potatos. Mazzy the coke is full of caffeine and a stimulant..once you have a panic attack you will associate being 'there' being a trigger..I get it in certain supermarkets

Probably a touch of Gout.
I was thinking that it was the Gout in his knee myself. One huge thing to get rid of Gout is make sure you eat a healthy diet. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains with complex carbohydrates. Drinking beer is a definite no no because it is rich in purines which readily breaks down to Uric Acid. Build up Uric Acid in the joints is the prime cause of Gout.
It’s falafel it’s nice with hummus or Tzatziki. See a doctor be careful it’s not pneumonia, eat more fruit and vegetables and water

Hi dan and mazzy sorry you had a panic attack they are awful l suffer them too your body goes into spasm pins and needles shortness of breath etc quite frightening. Cut down on the caffeine cokes etc.try breathing into a paper bag it helps a bit enjoy the rest of your hols 😊

Nothing worse than finding it hard to breathe because that in itself will make you panic. Dan is right you look beautiful no matter how you do your hair or anything. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for you both xx
