    As a heads up, the 460 was used all the way up in the 90's. 1997 was the last year in the 250 and up. 1996 was the last year in the 150 as 1997 saw the body style change and move to the modular v8 (4.6l & 5.4l).

I bought it from a little old lady with 83,000 miles on it and 81 that was my very first car I wish I would have never sold it I had put a new vinyl top on it and have the interior reposted it looked like brand-new when I was done with it and then I put a for sale sign on and I sold it two days later after I picked it up from upholster. I didn't even get time to enjoy the car after having it all fixed up.I regretted it.l made good money on it but sure miss it

    A lovely classic American car collection, I take my hat of to you sir.
    The wheel covers on your 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible are just fine, the 15 inch brushed stainless steel wheel covers look much better than the colour keyed wheel covers in my opinion. You are obviously a keen collector, of fine “Full Size” American automobiles. And I love all of your cars. If you are thinking about adding to your collection, may I make some possible suggestions, as follows below.
    1973 Imperial Le Baron sedan or Coupe. The longest (Non Limo) at 235.4 inches = 19 feet 7.4 inches.
    1974 Lincoln Town Coupe, Heavyweight, at 5,366 pounds = a little over 2.29 tons.
    1970 Cadillac Eldorado Hardtop Coupe, largest engine size, 8.2 litres, 500 Cubic Inches, 400 BHP.
    1975 Cadillac Eldorado Hardtop Coupe, Just because its beautiful (In my opinion).

    I’ve lived in Germany on & off for 50+ years and leaving next month again to go to my new duty station. With German gas prices & taxes per cubic inch, etc these must cost a fortune if you register them. I see you have some registered as Historical so that helps I’m sure. I wonder what you pay for each underground garage space...lol. I drive a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Collector’s Edition, had a 92 before that and a 95 Cadillac Fleetwood before the Buick. Although I thought I drive the Buick a lot I still only put about 3,000 miles a year on it. US forces pay way less for gas here though and no taxes at all for cars. Bought it in 2016 with 22,640 miles. It’s going back with me. My favorite car is a 1996 Cadillac Sedan Deville in triple white but would love to take your Caddy coupe or white Lincoln with me...lol💯✌🏻🇺🇸

    • @autoalfred
      @autoalfred  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sean yeah I guess members of the US forces can get much cheaper gasoline
      Then you might know the gas prices here about 1,50 euros per liter...
      tax for historical cars is only 191 euro per year. That is good.

    • @Shawn-ne6ld
      @Shawn-ne6ld 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@autoalfred yes but unfortunately the monopoly rip off company that sells us “tax free customs free” gas still charges about $1 per gallon more than what we pay in the US. They take the 2 most expensive places and use some formula but they don’t pay storage transport or anything. Currently about $2 something in MS where I’m a resident. Still cheaper than here in Germany but it’s mostly taxes for all the other benefits. Love your cars, you have my taste. I’m looking for a 76 sedan deville and another 96 Fleetwood brougham after I get a Ford F-150. In the US you have to have a truck...lol

    Family and friends owned these cars when I was a kid, driving these huge land yachts was no big deal on American roads because one got used to the size and compensated. Driving through the German countryside there was the occasional shock seeing a Cadillac Eldorado convertible full of Germans taking up most of the roadway. These monstrous autos look so out of place on European roads.

    Tschuss aus NY. Ich habe twei Continental-en, ein 72 und ein 73, damit eine kleine Auto Kolekzione (ist das ein wort? lol). Ich have Deutch im Schul gelernt, so ich glaube das ich sehr schlacht sprechen.
    Aber, ich have etwas spezial. Sie mussen kennen die M.A.N Busse, ja? Ich habe eine Rumanische Bus with ein originalische M.A.N. D2156 (nich die Hungarische oder Rumanische variant). Es is ein DDR M.A.N von 69, in eine 93 Bus!
    Ill switch to English LOL. My German is pretty terrible after 25 years of not speaking it. So, the bus engine is a 69, that was a static display under glass, and was mounted in my 93 bus as it was the last one built (eventually they revived the model under a different make, with a different supplier of the engines, but its still cool).

Loved the car
