I organize my patterns digitally on my iPad in Good Notes. I love being able to highlight things, make notes, and just make changes with my Apple pencil.
I think that a great way to attach them would be a little bit of floral wire through a stitch, with the hot glue. That will give it a little extra hold if the glue should give at all.
Ok so i had my first market, last week. I liked it , my velvet yarn just came in and i ordered ur beanies and baby blanket patterns. Im just starting are nowhere as fast as you are but how long does your adult beanies take you on average? Also on average how long does your recieving baby blanket take you ?
first off, alice is adorable(well of course she is, shes the star of the show😂). second, you look amazing camryn!!! you always have such a glow to you and your gorgg! i love these longer style videos and you always do an amazing job! im currently prepping for my market for this saturday! happy holidays to you, peyton and alice 💛💛
Don’t forget your tags, packaging, hooks, travel time, time at shows selling (so I would bump up your hourly wage to 18 or so an hour!) and honestly I would pay $15-20 at a craft show for the small tree and 20-25 for the larger one! I hope you did well!!! Love your videos! I just came across them!
I'm so glad you love the videos! :) You're so right that there are so many costs that go into crafting and setting up at markets! It's important to account for as many as you can!
Hi Cameron, hi Alice, I actually print my patterns twice. I keep one with me and I read over and over market it up and then I keep one in my pattern book that I have and of course it is downloaded on my computer too.
Hi Camryn! How do you finish off the bottom of the trees after you fill them. Mjs video is like a tree sweater on top of styrofoam. Love these! Thank you
I want to share a tip with you. Don’t know if anyone has tried this. I have issues with plush yarn & magic circles. I use 4 ply worsted for the circle & work around that. Works much better for me.
You always need to account for overhead - lights, heat/ac, business fees/accounting fees, crochet needles, gas to get to craft shows. If you don't account for all that, you will lose money, even with a wage.
I tagged dish scrubbies while watching this vlog. You forgot to tell people about your pink obsession. Same TBH. I keep my patterns in my Documents folder on my iMac. The pattens are organized into sub folders by category. The main folder automatically gets uploaded to iCloud. That way I can KnitCompanion can access my patterns. KnitCompanion works for crochet patterns too. My sister paid me to make her Christmas gifts for her friends. So I made 18 gift sets that contained one hand knitted dishcloth and one crochet dish scrubbie. After I finish tagging I’m going to go back to making scrubbies.
Have you tried E6000 glue? I'd test it on a small yarn scrap and the star first, just to see how the star may react to the E6000...but with E6000 it does take a few to dry, so a small amount, like a pencil tip size, of hot glue would help hold it on, because you don't need to touch the glue as it dries. 💜
This is off topic, but how long does it take you to make you newborn, toddler and adult beanies without poms? Also which baby blanket size do you find people prefer to buy and how long does it take u to make on average?
When calculating. Don’t you want to add in your time for loading up unloading rent for your booth rent and tables. Etc?? Also charge for the time at event
That is certainly something you can consider into pricing! If you do that, I would recommend you timing yourself at a couple of events to get an average loading/unloading time that you can incorporate!
Camryn I love your videos you have helped me so much become more passionate about pursuing a handmade crochet business. My business is TaC’s Girly Space. Me and my daughter do it together I crochet and make candles she makes jewelry.
Actually, you’re not making as much as you think. You didn’t factor your set-up & breakdown time, the time you spend at each market or the gas and/or help to transport your goods.
Hey hey makers!❤🥰 Hope you loved today’s vlog! What are you working on while watching??🧶😍⬇️
i am working on a little amigurumi moose 🫎

That is so handy!! 😊
Working on my Christmas gifts, I love the longer vlogs!
I’m so glad you love them!! What did you make for Christmas gifts? :)
I think that a great way to attach them would be a little bit of floral wire through a stitch, with the hot glue. That will give it a little extra hold if the glue should give at all.
That's such a good idea! Thanks for the advice!
I hot glue a toothpick onto the back of my star, and then add hot glue to the end of the toothpick and stick it into my tree.
That’s very smart!!

The adult beanies usually take me roughly 2 hours, and the throw size baby blanket usually takes 2-3 hours!
Hi Camryn, Hi Alice! This vlog came perfectly as i also work on my xmas gift wips!
That’s so awesome! :) I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
I am a new subscriber. I need all of the advice I can get to sell at markets. I am hoping to do a few next year.
I love your enthusiasm.
I ordered the tree pattern. And I'll definitely work on these for next year!
That’s so exciting!!

That’s so smart! Having a physical copy is so nice, and then have the digital as insurance is great!
I love notion!!! I have all my patterns organized in there too. I would love to see a vid about your layouts/how you use it! ❤merry Christmas!
I totally do plan on discussing Notion more with everyone!

That’s so true! There are so many costs that go into it that many don’t even realize until they see how much it’s taking away!!

@@camryns_cute_creations most definitely! I love it for just about everything you can think of... Lol

It takes roughly 2 hours for an adult beanie, with it scaling down the smaller it is. Most people tend to buy the throw size, and it takes 2-3 hours!
You were really close but the chickens red hat is called a comb my crochet mascot i guess is a rooster
Hey - where do you get the pom-poms on top of your beanies? They are the cutest ❤
Colleen Hoover books are awesome! I love her.

Hi Cameron! I came across your channel last week! Love it! My name is Julio Gomez, from Houston Texas! Also please do a livestream! 🤗
Hi, Julio! I do weekly lives on my Instagram, and less often on YT :) although I want to do more on YT!
Great live. Wgere did you buy the stars? I didn't see the link. Thank you
Hi, sorry for this question but how to you store the patterns!!? I don’t know how 😬 I have looked for some kind of tutorial for this 😁
I keep all my patterns digitally! So, I have a folder that stores them all!
First comment. Love your channel cam
❤️❤️
How do you make your trees that they don't need the styrofoam cone? I prefer the way yours look.
I stuff them with polyfill!
By the way, the red part of the chicken is called a comb. I have 22 REAL chickens so I should know!🐔
Thank you so much for letting me know!! I hope to have chickens one day :)
Do you add tax and shipping you paid for the yarn and poly?
If you are consistently paying for shipping and tax, then I would absolutely consider that in the pricing!
How do you sew your eyes on? I've tried that and they look like a complete mess.
I plan on filming a tutorial soon! I'll keep you posted!
I'm more vintage. I write down patterns in a notebook 😂
That’s super cool!! It’s so fun writing things down and using our own system to make it efficient and fun!
Camryn I love your videos you have helped me so much become more passionate about pursuing a handmade crochet business. My business is TaC’s Girly Space. Me and my daughter do it together I crochet and make candles she makes jewelry.
Link for the stars please.
Do you put in tax for it to
I incorporate tax into all my pricing! :)
Get a clear craft glue,
That is a good point! Thank you!
