The underwater base sounds/looks awesome would be nice to see being turn into a tutorial or a survival base sometime
Ive done one before in survival and its a pain you basically build the outline fill it with sand then dig it out...

Absolutely in love with the Subnautica style base as Subnautica is one of my fav games ever! A tutorial you must do!
As I recall the floating island farms are called chinampas. Chinampas are a pre-hispanic farming technique used by mesoamericans, specifically the aztecs to farm the swampy waters in modern day mexico and central America. The same principles for building the farms were also used to reclaim land from the lake where tenochitlan (modern day mexico city) was built similar to how Venice was built and the dutch reclaimed land from the sea.

for the subnautica base you could also add a system that pushes out a soulsand block with diffrent intervals, so that you will randomly see bubbles go up

Great build suggestions. I started a new keep but so far I just have a simple farm and some walls for my storage home/kitchen.

in 2019 i built a fully original base that took up so much space, i had massive crop fields, windmails and old styled buildings that were just absolutely gores, secret underground passageways that lead to a massive portal room, was even renovating the nether, took me 5 months to build. i got pissed odd and deleted the app and I MISS IT SO MUCH. just got the game again, found a lovely seed now it time to spark some ideas and do some craxy sheit again! thanks for the suggestion bud

The Subnautica base is awesome, a tutorial would be so cool to see. The only thing I'd nit pick about it is that because the tops are a single block it drips in some places... but then again it could be the hull integrity 😉

It's b/c of ur fish docks that I found ya! I love them and there is at least one version of them in my survival worlds. When I first started watching ur vids I used to think of you as "the fish dock dude", lol. the subnautica-inspired base is dope, it's one of my favorite games. it would be lovely to see a more fleshed out version
On the farms (1-3) I would put a dispenser with water and each time you press the button the water harvests the crops. Make sure to add hoppers and chests!
Some great ideas there!
Just a suggestion though; Present the builds in vanilla, without shaders or Texture packs. That way the average Minecrafter can see what they look like.
