One thing I recently started doing was reading Quran daily. My dad had me sit down and talked to me about how I should set a specific time to read Quran, and start from the beginning either from Juz 30 or Juz 1. But starting from there and to keep going. I started this habit and it’s a way I hold myself accountable that I am doing something daily to be connected to the words of Allah (swt). It’s a special message and a guide for each and every one of us. Quran is a rope we need to hold onto every tightly.
Well done - keep going . I did the same like make sure I read a portion the Quran everyday... if I dont feels something missing and my energy feels flat and my day feels empty?
Hello my brother, I want to tell you something. Every time I go to sleep I listen to Late Night Quran pt.8 or Late Night Quran pt.9 it is unbelievably beautiful for me to hear this voice and the Quran and both together result in just what you can call indescribably beautiful. I thank you for every single sura from the quran with this voice. Thanks

When it comes to recovering from a pornography addiction, I've found that the usual advice of staying busy with tasks didn't always cut it for me. I've been through the same struggle, and I get it. So, what I've been doing for the past couple of years is a bit different. Instead of just piling up tasks at home, I make sure most of my to-dos are things I can do outside. Like, if I have work or stuff to get done, I take my laptop and head to a café/study hub or something similar of that nature. Being around other people who are focused on their things helps me stay on track and not get lost in negative thoughts when I'm feeling lonely or down. By the time I finish my work and head back home later in the day, I'm pretty worn out. That tiredness actually works in my favor because I'm less likely to even think about going down the wrong path. I can just hit the hay without dwelling on the negative stuff. It's been working pretty well for me so far.
Habits that have helped me : 1: Reading one hour of the quarn -everyday 2: Reading an hour of personal development books 3: Training in martial arts - MMA/ Muay thai 3: Healthy food/vitamins 4: making daily goals / weekly/ monthly/ yearly 5: limiting distractions and focusing on creativity 6: rewarding myself for small milestones 7: Dikir- Doing it every time 8:: charity - having weekly charity goals 9: doing ten minutes of visualization every day 10. Getting good sleep / resting and recovery 11: Gallon of water a day - does wonders 12: Fasting mondays / Thursdays - to ground me. 13: Writing 30 minutes a day
Aslam walaikum....like you said you set weekly charity goals...can you please elaborate that or give fewer examples so that can help me also to do the same !
Yes Alxamdulilah this is something that had changed my life entirely. My weekly charity goals involves money , time , and effort. I made commitment to myself to go to the masjid and donate everyday no matter how little or more I have. For example If I have 20 dollars i spread it out through out the week. When I am short on money I volunteer, clean or find other ways to volunteer in soup houses and so on. Due to my tight schedule I can only do that an hour a day. Although we have online organizations to donate to I prefer doing it in person which gives me more fulfillment. I also keep changes in my car when I am driving to give to those are asking for it. Hope this helps !!!

Yusuf a well needed video and for telling the truth and touching on taboo subjects but it needs to be talked about. Im impressed with you as a proactive young guy doing his best to help others and motivate others. Your right about the Mosque its a place of serenity and solace a place where you can think and reflect in peace, be positive and recharge your mind and batteries to face the world and its challenges. The Quran whether you're studying it listening to it or reciting it is very special for mind, heart body and soul its food for the soul. I make dua for much success for you and your future. It is also equally important to enjoy life within the boundaries set by Allah - having a 'balanced' life of deen and dunya will help in a fulfilled life as long as you have goals something to aim for and learn......
I just can't believe that telling all those beautiful words only took 10min like what? These are such important and deep topics that its not enough to sum up in 10 min?! Well done for that Yusuf 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✨

اللهم أنصر الأسلام وأعز المسلمين Islam is every where.
Great advise I really like you since Your Iman is very beautiful. You are the man who is trying to help to other people.
Lovely video! apart from the content its so peaceful to listen to!
Thank you finally found you I needed this person❤❤❤
I just can't believe that telling all those beautiful words only took 10min like what? These are such important and deep topics that its not enough to sum up in 10 min?! Well done for that Yusuf 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✨
Thank you this is on point
Jazakallah brother❤
I was only like 2 seconds in and I saw the Quran. I didn’t think u were a Muslim. I’m 12 yr old revert and tell this video will be good

I honestly didn't know guys struggle with porn addiction this much. It alters your brain and how you perceive women. And it scares me as a woman who wants to marry at an early age.
It is the first time I watch your video brother and I really loved it. thank you so much for you great advices.
@AuburnWisp, is right... I may not have been in Gods presence for quite a long while, but this video is truthfully and incredibly motivating. I just wish that this drive that I'm feeling right now would last. Other then that, Great video.
