Lionel O Gauge Paradise, CA Layout - Southern Pacific Daylight & Santa Fe Chief pulled by EMD F7 AA

Locomotives on the layout are SP Daylight #4415 GS-2 and ATSF (Santa Fe) F3/F7 AA Diesels #18. Lionel calls the EMD F3's and look identical to F7's. The only differences between the F3 and F7 were the electronics, they share the same chassis, body and primary mover (diesel engine). This is based on my research into the Super Chief and The Chief locomotives and consists. In reality the Chief and Super Chief were pulled primarily by F7 ABBBA lash up.
