Beautiful! I’ve discovered Bushcraft Bear as I’ve spent the last week watching La Palma Volcano while isolating at home. It’s been fascinating as well as horrifying to watch the eruptions evolution. But I’ve been so captivated by this Force of nature in the same way as all nature is so beautifully mesmerising. Bushcraft bear you have captured the essence of nature in such a beautiful way in this video, and the relationship you have with it also. My passion for the natural world is deep and a treasure.....aren’t we all so lucky!

There are so many tips about wood craft in these videos, but viewers need to know a bit before hand to understand the significance of what is shown. Example: why did he pass up those more sheltered-looking rock formations for this one? On the other hand, this site would need up-slope trenching if rain came along. On this camp, 'our silent guide' made an increasingly cozy shelter as time permitted...and I learned a good few things about a VARIETY of equipment: a heavy Puma knife, the Victorinox Woodsman with locking blade, hand carved wooden spoons, the go-to Baco Laplander; the value of an alcohol stove as well as a wood-burning reflector fire. This is on my 'replay' list for sure!
This channel is like therapy for me. Please keep making such amazing vids and trips. Saving me a fortune on shrinks haha. Something about being out like alone like this that calms you to the core.

This guy is so badass and I think a lot of us aspire to incorporate something like this into our lives. It has to be good for the soul. I spend a decent amount of time in the woods fishing, but not enough time alone in the woods, and not enough time staying overnight in the woods.
