Just getting over nasty jet lag from Bali/Singapore and already want to go back to Thailand!! So worth it even if the travel is brutal from 🇨🇦 (although we have seasonal non-stop flights on Air Canada). Looking forward to northern Thailand….
I visited Bangkok twice in 2023 and stayed at this hotel both times. Your photos brought back so many great memories of Bangkok. By the way, if you go to Bangkok, you absolutely must try Puponfai.
The good thing about a place like Bangkok is we can afford to stay in a 5 star hotel/resort for a pretty good price (which I would never do at home), but then there are also so many amazingly cheap traditional wooden hotels and historic homes where you get a really authentic experience.

Be careful with Amari, they will take your booking, then tell you that you can’t use it because of their policy, and charge you the full cost! I booked a stay for my daughters, but they said, after taking the booking with my CC and my daughters name, that they were only allowed to stay if I was there (it was clear in the booking I wasn’t). They are 18 and 17, so it’s not about minors!
Good to see both of you back in Thailand. I was watching your videos 4 or 5 years ago when you lived in Chiangmai and it was so cheap. I am planning to quit my job and move to Chiangmai to retire early this year. Can you please do a couples of more videos in Chiangmai of this year and how expensive things have gone up. I remembered both of you lived on a budget $1,500 per month but things are more costly now and I wondering how much to rent a nice apartment with 1 or 2 bed room.
