Welcome back to Thailand! We genuinely think the street food of Thailand is right up there with the best in the world, so we knew coming back to Bangkok meant we wanted to try some new places. Another cool thing about Thailand is the tuk tuk taxi drivers, but for real they're pretty good at ripping you off so we often avoid them. Then we found the answer! That TukTuk tour looked like so much fun. Last time I was in Bangkok, my son and I did a river cruise for dinner - now that was amazing with all the temples etc lit up at night.

I think the last place you went, where you had to climb 5 flights, is the hotel im staying at later this year. May I ask what you thought of it? (I can still change accommodations if needed). Thanks!
Hhhhm not sure that's really the best spot. 1) the stairway was loud, we were told to be quiet cos it annoys the guests 2) the bar is on the rooftop, so there's LOTS of foot traffic 3) everything around it is exppppensive 4) once you've been to the temples you've kind of seen everything close by 5) I dont think it's on/near a train line so taxi mafia was real, hard to get a grab. If it was us, we'd change.

we were also there in March, wasn't it just sooooooo hot! I'd forgotten how draining it is!
I remember how grumpy I was from the heat; I'm going again in May and it's currently 38c degrees so I'm worried it's going to be horrible, haha.
It's super draining isn't it! The night tour was very refreshing to escape the crazy heat!
Sad to see the shark fin restaurant (really cruel practice...). I'm looking forward to trying mango sticky rice as I've been to Thailand twice and never tried it!

Haha we agree, love Pad Thai! Not on this tour but we've eaten A LOT of pad thai on this trip already so was nice to try different dishes we wouldn't normally order ourselves.
