I guess he's still very bitter about that sick wall ride at Martinsville. I've been a Nascar fan since 1999 and I gotta say that was nuts. I am glad Nascar is making these rules, especially that one. But still that wall ride was probably the funniest AND the coolest thing ive ever seen 🙌😂

Bill france jr. stopped by my series in 1998-99 or so and said “REMEMBER BOYS RACING IS PART COMPETITION & part ENTERTAINMENT. Your #1 job is MAKE NEW RULES FOR MY OLE BOOKLET (slapping a rule book)”. This is why the sport has suffered. I raced from 4-25yrs old every year non stop. You would be pissed for a few minutes but then be happy for the guy. Like Dale Earnhardt toasting Jeff Gordon like a real man. The attitude these drivers have where they are so envious they didn’t wall ride it’s unattractive. But that wall ride was great for the sport. But remember your job is to create new rules! So yes they have to ban it. But people would watch more if drivers were pushing the envelope like this.

Tony was right to speak out. It was getting absolutely ridiculous a few years back when teams we’re only tightening a couple lug nuts on pit stops to gain track position, especially on the final stop. Pass some rules to speed the cars up rather than slow them down. Make it so the driver and his nerves slows the car down, not the rules and bureaucracy. Put an end to cookie cutter cars the let the teems do as they like within a loose set of basic rules that are set in stone year after year. The crying over spilled milk is exactly why viewership went down the toilet the last 20yrs. I raced from 4-25. Now I watch my kids. But this is something you would be pissed for 5seconds but once you understand the business side it’s perfect. (Keep in mind you don’t wanna see anyone do it again btw) it’s just one of the moments that gets the fans going and shows how bad he wanted it. Remember racing is entertainment in this series. The last driver we had that understood this is Dale Earnhardt. You would always see him side eye the grandstands to see what the fans wanted. If someone wrecked him or got over on him, like Jeff he toasted at the banquet. It’s extremely unattractive when drivers get mad at someone who out performs them. You could’ve done the same thing. It’s simply envy. Now it’s common sense they would ban it because your job as a driver/crew is MAKE NEW RULES! Period. That’s when the stands were packed. “Nobody is gonna pay to watch a rule follower”. This is what mr.bill France jr told us when he stopped by our series. But understand you will get your hand slapped but he encouraged drivers to make new rules.

Denny has made bonehead moves in playoff races the years he was close in the championship hunt. It isn’t bad luck, it’s called choking. Tony Romo was a master at it.

Denny, stop crying 😂. You got burned . NASCAR stopping it come on. The BS about the cost of the cars for the owners . The Clash is a giant wreck fest , what about the cost there. NASCAR is dying a slow death u less
Dale Jr is out in charge.

It eliminates the finesse of driving. Rolling in, holding down, quickest back to throttle. The ass to feel what is fast, and what is overdriveing. It shouldn't be done on a video game, let alone on track.
Everything is having tuff times. The country is falling, and new generations couldn't run the industry if it was here. Driving a real car. They can't drive a standard trans. Everything is auto, frontwheel.
It's simple Denny, hit your marks. Do as long as you can. Someday soon it want be there.

the cars cost is a the dumbest reason ive heard for banning wall rides. all that needs to happen is a single car in front to stop anyone doing that on the 1-2 tracks it could actualy happen at. those cars are built to destroy, if they arent F1 cars, they are fully disposable.

You guys need to understand, what happens if Ross hit a slightly cracked gate? what happens if brad was slightly closer to him and he was going over 35+ MPH more than he should've? We know the safety problems of the next gen and that could've been bad. You guys need to look 5 minutes more into the issue before you start calling NASCAR stupid or Denny a crybaby, you guys just need to grow up.

I don't think everyone will be destroying their cars on the last lap at Martinsville.
You have to be unhinged to even do a move like that, there's no way someone like MTJ has it in him to do it. Ross's circumstances were also exceptional, being that he needed to do it to get into the F4. I don't think he does it just for the sake of going from 10th to 5th on its own.
Honestly you could probably just switch Martinsville and Homestead's dates so that Martinsville is no longer the cutoff and boom, no more wall riding. It's absolutely the right decision to ban the move from a safety and cost standpoint, but I disagree with the notion of "everyone will just do this on the last lap if nothing else to avoid getting passed."

I'll ask this. As a Fan of Harvicks (ME) and other Fans, HOW DO WE MOVE ON AS FANS?????? No one ever asks THIS QUESTION. I watch others but I can't seem to find another driver that even compares. I'm afraid I may lose interest. WHAT YOU SAY????

Denny is partly unlucky. However. If you look at titles in Motorsports, normally the winner is the more aggressive guy vs whoever his main competition is for a title. Denny needs to step his aggression up and see if that makes any changes. If you keep getting the same result, eventually, you realize you are the constant in the bad results. You have to change something b

Ross beat Denny's butt out in the end game with Waller-mellon move. Sounds like them grapes are sour Denny. LOL
I agree loosing a wheel is a self imposed penalty and NA$CAR doesn't need to penalize more. If anything NA$CAR should be penalized for bad design. Lane restart choice is a joke.
They didn't cover that only road courses don't use stage cautions. Another myth to group up field when someone's hero is a lap down.
Don't get me started on Lap down leader getting lap back.
NA$CAR needs to return to roots racing. (When it was popular)
