Charles Spurgeon Sermons - Final Perseverance
Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

Mr. Koelsch, I am very grateful for each of these sermons you have taken the time to record. I can read them well enough, but I always seem to get more out of them when I can listen to them, and you are a very able reader. I only wish you would record them all.

@eileenmaryeileen7 Yes, I liked this one very much myself. Another by Spurgeon that I listened to again today with my wife, which we both very much liked, is "Flesh and Spirit - A Riddle." If you have not yet heard this sermon, I highly recommend it. May our Lord bless you too, sister :-)

Thank you Lord Jesus. How do you stay (adhere to) with the doctrines of TULIP and sovereign grace? Thanks for the sermon post!

Well eloquent but not a definitive argument because Paul says they put Christ to an open shame,it seems to imply that it is possible or the consequent(Christ/open shame)would not be there.I rather think that Paul is a human being and makes mistakes and can go down the rabbit hole(Iv'e seen preachers on the pulpit do it all the time)So perhaps this is what paul is doing I don't know.I'm still seeking the answer to this one as spurgeon left me eloquently unconvinced.
