Our Dolphin “Taco” gave me a couple problems at first after a few months, but after the manufacture corrected it it works great, great product.

We have the E10 and love it. my question is will the other control panels work for this model? We would like to be able to set a time and have it run cycles. We have to manually go out and shut it down or turn it back on it has only one button. My next question is how do you go in and clean the rest of the unit. I know how to clean out the basket and rinse out the unit but there are other parts I feel need to be cleaned every now and then..Thank you for your time and knowledge.

They only make one control or power supply for the E10. Cleaning the basket and rinsing the unit inside and out is all you can do and you will be fine. If your unit gets clogged or needs service you can take your cleaner to your local Dolphin dealer. Thanks for watching.

Your link for the E10 indicates upgraded filter so I am wondering what the difference is between what you list and others on the market. Thank you for your time.

Maytronics has recently upgraded the filter basket in the E10, it has a handle for easy removal, the basket is also much easier to clean than the old design. If you have any questions feel free to contact me I will be glad to help.

Hi Mark, will this robotic unit clean up dirt, sand, or fine particles at the bottom of pool? Seems like baskets is meant for larger debris.

The E10 has a fine screen filter basket that picks up small debris. There is also an ultra fine basket that you can order if you need to pick extreme fine debris, like pollen. Here's the link for the ultra fine basket.

Question: I noticed the basket for collection. I had a robot with a cloth filter, and it picked up fine material and even algae. The basket looks as though algae would not be collected in that mesh filter. Any suggestions?? Thank you!

They work well, however you can upgrade the basket filters for extra fine debris. Thanks for watching.

A few years ago I won an Aquabot Xtreme. I have an 18x33 above ground pool, and I was told by the pool company that this cleaner was not appropriate for my pool and that it
will destroy my liner. I tried it a few times just to make sure that it worked, but I've always been in fear that it would hurt the liner of my pool somehow. Would you be able to tell me
why this would or would not be the case? I really hate to waste a free cleaner valued at $600.

According to Aquabot the unit that you have will work in your pool.

Just tried Seagull Plus on my above ground 24 x 15. Pool started out pretty clean. Constantly getting stuck. Failed to cover all areas of pool. Watched it pass over same area of pool floor THREE TIMES, that had a bit of sand/dirt, did not pick up. Save your money, Do it right. Vacuum manually.

Try a dolphin robotic cleaner, they work very well. Thanks for watching.

Is the Dolphin Premier safe for climbing walls in a vinyl pool? Thanks

Yes, all dolphin cleaners are safe and work well in concrete, vinyl and fiberglass pools.

Hey Mark I have a 18x33ft above ground pool and was looking for the best robotic pool vacuum , can you recommend one?

For above ground pools, my favorite is the Dolphin E10. See link below.

I’m new to this. Does my pool have to be running while my robot is running. TIA

Really, my dolphin gave me nothing but problems, the front roller is still at the bottom of my pool. The power station died after 2 years, and then, I took it apart and created a much smaller and more waterproof version matching the voltage and amperage, That worked great, until the front assembly came off, since apparently they don't weather and acid proof their products, which you'd think in a body of water known to accept caustic chemicals for sterilization, it could stand up to those things. Paid like 900 for that thing.

You left the cleaner in the pool when you added chemicals to it?....

Does the cord get tangled up?

    • @HallmarkPoolSupplies
      @HallmarkPoolSupplies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

The E10 does not have the anti-swivel cord, however, tangling of the cord is typically not an issue because the cord is only 40 ft. Cleaners by dolphin with cords that are 60 ft. or longer will have the anti-swivel cord.
