Wow.. Bacolod,Negros Occidental, the foods there is very delicious. Working here in Manila for more than 10 years now, I miss our food. Simply the best .
Great content! ❤ Thanks Luke! We just visited Cebu last Nov 2023 and I wished we could have tried the pig’s brain experience. Maybe on our next trip! 🎉 we’re based in Toronto but nothing beats back home Philippines, weather-wise, food, beaches!!! You made us miss our home country moreeeee
Whoa... I didn't think I'd finish this video but i watched the entire 3 hrs of it! Daymm that's longer than a blockbuster movie! Comes to show that's some good content right there. Although there were parts i wanted to correct but i can't stop binge-watching it.
Wow I really enjoyed this blog with all the dishes you’ve tried. Filipinos are really foodie. In every region there’s always the best dish being served like no other. Kansi is a dish that I haven’t tried, but now that Luke declared it’s his ultimate favorite now and I believe it must be really tasting better than the other dishes he had. Love the Philippines. Too many delicious food.
I'm from Bacolod & i love ur video from the Philippines! Great & exciting experienced u had eating the raw worms from the rotten mangrove! Wow! I do admire you! U'r tough! All the best to u! Ur new follower from Norway!🇧🇻
Nice episode and food vlogging in the Philippines Thank you for visiting to our country.... You are always welcome to the Philippines Next time you can go to northern and southern part of luzon and also Visayas area and Mindanao there so many authentic food and old dishes from our ancestors... Thank you and god bless
That looks like fun and adventurous at the mangroves and eating molusks that look like long oysters. We are jealous. That is very memorable bro ❤ Could tell your fav was the bacolod inasal by chef, the angel wing clams, and the beef cansi that was insanely delicious and tender. Just like its neighboring countries, the Philippines has so much to offer to the world. 😊
Bacolod City, my home. We used to eat lunch at Bakerite when I was taking Architecture at La Consolacion College, across the street. Also, in Manokan Country, I always eat at Umbao. For only 145 pesos you have chicken breast inasal, unlimited rice, 12oz coke, and free Cansi soup. 😍😚😍
@@ingerboredickson1533 exactly, it's made from corn but lots of Filipino content creators call it corn rice, that's why I was amazed to see someone finally got it right
Eating Lechon in the Philippines 🇵🇭 is a memorable experience. I was 11 years old back in the 70’s when I first tried it and I will never forget the crispy pig skin and the meat with it. Gotta have lots of rice 🍚…Fo sho😊😅😮
Thank you for featuring Filipino food. I know a lot of elitist would turn their noses on it but they don't realize how good it is. The use of offal meat likens to many European cultures. So wonderful to see you enjoying and embracing it.
I am from Bacolod. My first stop upon arriving in Bacolod is Diotay's. Seeing you in there, made me missed my country now. October is still long to wait and Bacolod I will be there.
I wanna try that Pastil and it’s really cheap so you’ll never go wrong just to try it. With adobo flavor it must be good. Those chicharon are the classic Filipino comfort food and the LECHON is the pride of the Filipinos. The crunchy skin is what really makes it so special and the best flavor is on the skin. I haven’t tried the Rendang from the Muslim community in Manila. I grew up in Quiapo so I’m always at the Quinta market for our favorite Palabok because my mother would bring me there. I haven’t heard of the Lunar’s bakery. I wonder where that is in Manila. You’re amazing because you have eaten so much in a day and you’re loving it. Love the Philippines and everything Filipino dishes are so delicious and so cheap. Your money goes a long way.
I really enjoyed watching this video. I can almost taste the food as you are eating them, well except for the worms hehehe. I sure hope you enjoyed your trip. Looking forward to seeing more Philippine video. Thank you for sharing
OMG🫣🤭🥰Luke I salute you for your KEEN INTEREST & most of all the BRAVERY🫣👍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼! I don’t think I can level up with you on all those CULINARY experiences and adventures that you endeavoured tho I am PINOY myself HATS OFF to you! A big thanks for LOVING & EMBRACING our traditions n culture! Good luck and God bless. Just subbed here👍! DUBPinoy❤️
I’m getting fat watching this. Making me cook more Filipino food. Glutinous flavors! Proud FilAm! We don’t have a lot of markets with the tropical/filipino vegetables where I live in TX. Can’t wait to move back to CA! Filipinos are everywhere there! And they have markets! OMG I’m so hungry. 😂
I like that part that you were able to show the process of preparing for the Balut to be ready for sale. I like Balut because it’s nutritious and delicious, too. I just like it with salt and then sip the soup from the egg. I don’t want it with vinegar, but some like it a little sour. The white park is tough and I don’t like it. The egg yolk is the best part. The baby duck is really gross when you eat it with feathers and still good. Only now I’ve seen a variety of dishes you can do with Balut. 😊
Only the most virgin Pacific Ocean 🌊 water 💦 that enters the Philippines and exits to various Asian countries due to the rotation of the earth 🌎🌎. Love the Philippine beaches!
the ubud that you're talking about is the original lumpia.. and the lumpia that we usually eat are lumpiang shanghai that have meat on the inside. lumpiang ubod or lumpiang gulay sometimes with a toge or bean sprout inside
Great tour you had there. Love that you featured diff islands and their unique food. Although, my ears bled in bacolod it's not ashooti it is atsuete pronounced as atch-chew-weh-te.. The English is annatto. I think chef just got confuse. 👌😉 Anyways my mouth just waters with the chicken inasal🍗😍
Most of the foreigners influx only to the beautiful sites, beaches of Cebu & Mindanao but there are also more undisclosed, undiscovered & unpopular good places in. The part of Luzon, like Bagui, Clark Air Base, Batangas Beaches & many others
Now, I plan to go Bacolod, so much delicacies there, but you know Luke you should give them a tip or Let them keep the change, it helps the vendors to get extra income. . Help the community, so what is only 100 pesos tip or more than that.???.
Was worried for a moment. Was I seeing the time correctly because Luke usually uploads by 3pm South African time on Sunday...... Thanks Luke. Looking forward to this compilation
Philippines is divided into three main island groups which are Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Foods from these main islands are mostly different from one another.
Although the jeepneys were originally made from military jeeps left over from world war 2 …I’m pretty sure that there are no more of them running on the streets of Manila and that’s been the case for a long time now( maybe the last of them were on the streets in the early to mid sixties) …the present day jeepneys are locally made from steel or stainless steel bodies made by local artisans to look like bodies from the old jeeps and the bodies are put on surplus frames from other vehicles and surplus engines bought elsewhere (a lot from Japan).
Wow.. Bacolod,Negros Occidental, the foods there is very delicious. Working here in Manila for more than 10 years now, I miss our food. Simply the best .

Actually grits is made from corn, another thing peoples from the southern United States eat.

Wow
Pochero is not influenced by Spain. We have had this dish pre colonial times.
The infusion of tomato sauce in tagalog pochero is the spanish influence
