Oh my gosh! That "stretch your curl for more volume" trick was so simple but blew my mind with the results! i hate how my perm rod curls are so tiny when I take them out but I'm definitely going to try this. THANKS!!!

What do you like better. Leave in conditioner and curl cream or mousse and water? I usually start from the ends and work my way up. Which technique do you feel gets better results
I like the wrapping method, feel like I get more definition. It depends if I'm using large sections I can use a mousse so it dries faster, but I use leave ins and stylers mostly.

Thank you! I kept this style for about a week I think. I try to wash my hair once a week unless I'm really loving the style and I don't want to wash it out yet lol.

I love how you style your hair it's just like mines. Im all natural but I've been having a hard time with getting a curl. To me I think I'm using to much product or they are just to heavy on my hair. I would love to see what Products you love/prefer for your hair/type.

do you ever hair spray it afterwards to keep the curls in longer, or does your natural hair normally keep them maintained in a way?..
I don't usually apply any additional product in between washes.
I would love to try this style but trying to secure them perm rods is the devil. 😒

How long did you keep your perm rids in or did you use a hooded dryer?
I left them in over night. Sometimes depending on how much drying time I have I will sit under the dryer for about 20 minutes before sleeping with them overnight.

hey has ...I am a regular viewer of your post...n I love these curls ,but I am having trouble with the rods tightening to the scalp ...what can I do..
It's really all in the clasp. Sometimes you have to close it going the opposite way to make sure it stays tight in place. If you close the rod and it still falls loose you need to wrap it around the other side.
Can you tell me where you got the perm rods? I am desperate to try this♡

pulling it up into a loose ponytail at night tying a scarf around it and then shake and go in the morning.

How long should the hair dry before taking the rods out?
However long it takes for your hair to be 100% dry. Some people take longer than others. Depending on the style I may sit under the dryer for 20 minutes before letting them air dry overnight.

They were tight. But not too tight to where they were pulling if that makes sense.

coily kurlz yes girl I perm rod my hair every Saturday and last for a whole week. Mainly because when I'm at home I pineapple it and put my silk scarf on it. But girl I hate when Saturdays come. When I tell u it takes me at least 2 and a half hrs to roll my hair😂😂😂😂😂. Don't get me wrong I love the look and my curls. But child I absolutely despise the rolling part😂😂😂😂

I didn't dye my own hair. This is actually a result of being full blonde and then covering it with warm browns and this is two years later growing out. I actually need to color it again but I've been getting so many color compliments I'm scared to change it. I talk about my blonde in my hair journey video on my channel. Its my first video I posted.
