    I HOPE MY MESSAGE WAS CONVEYED WELL , I FEEL LIKE A LOT OF FOLKS ARE MISSING THE POINT
    ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SPENT MORE THEN 90 CONSECUTIVE DAYS IN LIBERIA . I AM ENCOURAGING EVERY LIBERIAN TO MOVE BACK HOME OR RETIRE BACK HOME BUT TO BE AWARE AND PREPARED FOR THE CHALLENGES SO AS TO MINIMIZE ITS EFFECTS
    I FEEL LIKE FOLKS DO NOT WANT ME SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT THE CHALLENGES THAT CURRENTLY EXISTS IN LIBERIA AND TO ONLY SAY EVERYTHING WILL BE ROSES AND GLITTER, IM GIVING TIPS ON HOW TO PREPARED FOR YOUR MOVE
    I HOPE THAT CLARIFIES IT

      Thanks again for the information and great job well done. There will always be some people that will criticize your hard work no matter what. Keep it up. I was only adding up to your message that, one of the most important aspects of good life/living is good health care system in any given society.
      Thanks again.

    Hi thank you I hear what you’re saying which is all true, but for a lot of us that have made up our mind to move home now trying to get away from the hustle and bustle the hustle and bustle life that we are living with no rest we’re trying to get away from that so going home to Liberia and being able to just live within your means in your own house and rest that exactly what a lot of us mean in particular is prepared for because living here in the United States. All we do is work there’s a lot of places to go, but you have to work to pay bills and you rarely travel now so I would say maybe it’s for the 19th to 20 but if you in your 30 and 40s and older you just wanna go home to the peace and quiet.

    • @liberia-totheworld9628
      @liberia-totheworld9628  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I agree
      You do want that peace a quiet
      However, do u consider have having abundance of things to do as a retired person hustle and bustle ? I would think even though you’re retired you’ll like be explore , see new places , no new things , have ease of access to basic things …. I know the idea of retirement is just sitting around nothing but I think until you’re in your 80s you’ll definitely want to utilize your now free time , you don’t think so ?
      That’s what I’m saying, right now it hard to just consistency live in Liberia without feeling like the country is too small .. I’m just saying folks should be mentally prepared for that

  • @kamahhilley9600
    @kamahhilley9600 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

    But that’s the thing we all have to try to recondition our mind to go and make it our own paradise just like this countries that we live into that we love all the amenities and all the glands and glitter it took work so we have to go with the open mind to where we were born and help build this place And live within your means that is the very important part because I follow another wonderful Liberian Lady auntie Helena she has a channel called Queendom I love the way she’s living because she is living with her means she is getting the rest that she well deserved that she never got here in the state and that is what a lot of us there are wanting to go home now, including myself that’s the kind of life I want to go live not in the city, but on the farm there’s nothing like home that’s what we have to tell ourselves and believe in it and when we go, we go with the open mind to make an impact to help out not to condemn it and I appreciate everything you guys are doing to inform us be safe.

      I get it but I’m making this video to apply to everyone…. Right ?
      U wouldn’t expect everyone to live the way you’ll like to live … a lot of people want to retire and explore, like u said in America here we work , now that you’re home and have the time lots of people would want lots of things to do … in your previous post u mention folks in their 30s and 40s , those are very young , I don’t foresee majority of folks in their 40s wanting to just sit on farm and just be there , these people will want adventure, social life , travel , night light , leisure activities etc …

    Honestly, it's no different than coming or living in america or anywhere else. Everything that happens in Liberia, america has the same problems! It depends on the individual. To me, america is worse than Liberia. I live in Brooklyn, and the likelihood of me getting robbed or killed here is higher than that in Liberia. Challenges are in every country, that's normal. Come to Liberia! There are plenty of things to do there, and everyone's experience and opinions vary.

    I must admit, I ❤your videos. Thanks a lot for the formation. You mentioned some of the different challenges. Most importantly, you forgot to mention our health care system. Many people returned to
    Liberia, and when things start falling apart regarding their health, they end up rushing back to the U.S. for medical treatments especially most of our retirees. Many have died prematurely from simple thing like hyper/hypoglycemia or hyper/hypotension that can be managed or a person can be stabilized in an ambulance before reaching to the
    hospital for an advanced medical treatments. Because many of our retirees already have underlining medical conditions who are under medical supervision with doctors visit every couple of months. Therefore, we need to consider also our health care system seriously.

      Hi thanks for your comment and for watching
      I’ll like to understand though, how is having more money to live too much ?
      That’s less then $50k a year for a family. That is not too much . With all the things I mentioned in this video , with all the expenses of living comfortably to support an entire family coming from the diaspora $48k a year ( $4,000 ) a month is adequate to support that lifestyle
      How would be able to explore, travel to other African countries, save for emergency, medical, insurances, car repairs, electricity ( gas for generators) , high speed unlimited internet and the list goes on … how would u suggest a family comfortably do all the for $2,000 a month

      @@behlohmulbah1586 ohh gotchu, so yes Liberia can definitely get very expensive to live. Example , gas is $5 per gallon and $8 per gallon in certain areas, you'll need to repair your car more often due to road and other factors, to do laundry is about $35 each time ( you can have someone wash your clothes for $5 but depends of the quality of cloths you take , you'll need to buy gas most time since LEC is very unstable ... so to live close to the comfort you're use to ? Liberia can for sure get expensive

    Mr Liberia, you’re rambling! U keep saying the same thing,over and again. I think moving to LIB is a personal choice and depends on ur age and where u are in your life. You’re a middle age man it’ll be different for u compare to an older person. In the future a vlog is a moving video. Sitting around being repetitive is not it. Show us don’t tell us.. nice coat! U r flexing.

      Lol
      I strongly believe you did not comprehend this video
      Because you just repeated what I said in this video and the overall message.
      What did u say at the end ? I said it’ll up to each individual, I encourage each person to go and visit then decide for his or herself…. So why would you say that again
      On the internet, when someone is set to make a counter argument, they barely listen to the speaker all they think about is what their rebuttal is
      Lastly, it doesn’t matter if you’re 15 or 159 certain challenges in Liberian doesn’t affect only certain age range …. Electricity, not being able to just run errands quickly, dealing with dishonest people around you for literally anything you try to do , what does that have to do with age
      Again you all missed all the key points and the goal of this video , i mentioned in this video several times that I’ll recommend everyone move back home and for me I’m also basically almost fully moved but I’m preparing everyone for the challenges and that we should endure and and help fix all the problems that exist but you out here talking something completely different

    Everything you're saying here is what people here in the US already know. Anyone can live anywhere in this world depending on their economic philosophy. Liberians in Liberia think life can only get better if they come to the United States while Liberians in United States think they can live better back home. You keep talking about backup income as if you don't know that people here in the US live from pay check to pay check. Bottom line - Liberians have to adopt a more pragmatic approach to life economically. If you want to move back to Liberia from the US, you have to reprogram yourself to be able to live in the country. There are a lot of things here in the US that you will not have in Liberia including water, electricity, stable internet and communications, good health care systems but not forgetting top level community security (well equip police). Only people who are ready to sacrifice all these things for the love of country, can make this journey. Much of this depends on your individual philosophy of life and happiness.

    • @liberia-totheworld9628
      @liberia-totheworld9628  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your comment bro
      What you’re saying has lots of truths to it
      However though, I completely disagree with you that everything I said is what people in the US already knows . A lot of people are completely unaware of the real world economic, societal and cultural challenges Liberia poses . Trust me , just because you’re aware does mean everyone is . I say t s because I’ve seen countless of people moving down here and packing up and leaving in less then a year , I get so many emails and have had so many phone conversations on this exact topic , so no a lot of people are not aware
      Secondly u said anyone can live anywhere depending on their economic philosophy. Well, someone may think they believe in a particular philosophy but comes to real world living , they can’t cope , also , not everyone have put that philosophy together yet that’s what this video is trying to give some ideas to create your expectations.
      No doubt life in the United could provide you with opportunities that Liberia doesn’t have , im a strong believer in Liberia and someone making their live better and building wealth from right there in Liberia, but im not naive to think that there are more opportunities in Liberia , there aren’t , you can’t honestly say that .
      What about the backup income statement you want to dispute my bro , if everyone in the US live paycheck to paycheck then maybe they aren’t ready to completely move to a country that might need you to be business minded.
      Like you said , folks have to adopt, that is absolutely correct and that’s what this video is about , how are u gonna adapt if u have no idea what you’re getting yourself into , at least when u have an idea u can be mentality prepared and that’s why I make these video making people aware
      Finally , I agree and that’s what I said I’d you’re moving to Liberia it’s mainly for the love of the country because a lot of things you’re gonna lack

    I have been following your videos, and I think your intentions are good but at the same time misguiding. I have been spending 8 months every other year in Liberia and the other video you uploaded about living expenses in Liberia just "WOW" me. You were describing high-end living - the like of which unless you are making good money cannot be sustained anywhere on the globe not just in Liberia.

      Thanks for watching my brother
      Here’s what I’ll say , these videos are obviously aimed towards folks living in the diaspora looking to move down . These folks moving down are used to a certain level of lifestyle and will
      Like to maintain it to a certain extent. Why move to Liberia to live below standard lifestyle, what I mentioned in this video and that cost of living video is not high end but just a good standard of living . Highend living in Liberia will be a lot more expensive then that .
      Anyone can obviously live way below that amount but based on what most people looked for in their move that’s is a good starting point, a person can the choose to eliminate some choices or expenses or some people can choose to up it .
      Liberia is not a cheap place to live u know that bro , unless u strip down and live at the poverty line … u just can’t escape most expense bro
      I’m curious to hear from u how u live well below that amount and how the info I’m providing is misleading, please reply with your findings
      Thanks
