Razel is the Jimi Hendrix of beatbox, he took the artform to a new level and paved the way for everyone who came after him. There are hundreds, if not thousands of beatboxers now who make Razel look like a total amateur but, they wouldn't exist if he hadn't provided that jumping off point. Fuck the haters. Even if he's crappy by todays standards, he is the king of beatboxing and nothing and no one can dethrone him.
it`s fun to read all of those who think that rahzel is weak just becouse they have seen american idol or some youtube videos Rahzel was the godfather before Internet before american idol, he is the guy who started this and made it popular, it is thanks to him that you even know what beatbox is. It`s like saying Qbert is not a good DJ anymore, no he is not good, he is the greatest, he and Rahzel took their art to a whole different level and the rest is just trying to catch up.

@element73 because he's the one of the few ppl(including kenny muhammad and etc) who brought beatboxing into mainstreem. Many beatboxers today will say rhazel was one the biggest influences that made them start beatboxing. he's like the foundation of beatbox.
What he does, I think, is exhale on the bass drum. I inhale, we do two totally different things. His style is MUCH louder than mine and that is why he can wow a crowd. My style is just something I do for fun but it sounds to me like he incorporates inhales into his beats. I do circular breathing when I am just doing the beat and so I can just keep the same beat going indefinitely, or until I get cottonmouth so bad that I have to stop.
