It's half past ten on a sunday morning in december 2014, I'll drink my coffee, smoke my cigarette and look at this video. Well played, Sir, well played. Phantastic driving, it was a pleasure to look at it. Inspired by that, i will now take a shower, get my MX5, and go to the Ransell-Classics Hillclimb road and have a little fun. Thanks for this vid, greetings from Rüdesheim/Rhein
What a stunning feel great video thanks guys. A tight circuit so the small cars will kill the big cars. But fab driving from all seen on here. Thank you for the upload.
id rather have the zt any day day had one a while back soooooo fast and drives like its on rails best car ive ever had....the mrs has a zr....also a good drive but not so comfy !!!
If you have never driven a ZR then you won't realise what a great car it is round corners! The ZT had little chance on that track against the ZR. Both well driven but you can see how the ZT drifts when he tries to keep up on the bends.
Nice driving, Paul but I think that going into the bends wider and hitting the apex later you might get the power down a bit earlier. Not easy though with all those buzzy little hatch-backs snapping at your heels threatening the inside line.
Has the 75 sequential transmission? Is the 75 driver as good as the one in the ZR? Are they the same weight? Push the Ford V8 Engine to the same compression ratio as the 1.8 ( that means 350-400 bhp). Then it will be a fair fight.
selling 75 for zr haha:)) nah i love my 75 :D even if it's bigger and slower but still ... even the zr and zt we're in the front pack in the lead so that not really bad :D
proud to beat a massive family car? lol the ZR is a great buggy, but the ZT rocks for what it is. Go pick on a Astra ZXR Honda VXR whatever. You get the picture?

Bigger is not always better but the sound that v8 is making is perfect

Great driving using the whole track and that engine note!!...o.m.g.!!!
The genius driving this ZR knows his story he is the real racer
The vid was stopped just as the ZT or something was about to fly by....look in the mirror at 8:06
if you in look his mirror at 7:46 you see the ZT is in front and the car behind is the one that overtakes him at the end
this is one of the best vids ive ever seen about driving. This driver could teach me some tricks :D
Gonna buy an awesome ZR one day. Hope I won't regret this decision!

Cracking racing mate. That zt is rather a handful!
Serious Driving Pal.... Holding them Apex's Like a Real Pro !!!
Now this is terrific.
Great video, thanks for sharing.

looks like cracking racing!!
Very good!
Complimenti per la macchina e per la guida
Beautiful... Viva MG!!!

Great driving. Excellent cars, makes me as proud as ever to be British
Fantastic driving. kudos.
Ole ole ole grande!!!
For a big heavy car on road tyres it is not doing too bad. Paul is quite a good peddlar.
which mods do you have for handling like that?
damn!! nice driving... any idea on spec?
WOW ... awesome Driving..
mega driving, loved watching that
Which racing series is this?
The ZT looks good too. Fastest Rover seventy-five ever?
How many laps before the head went?
What engine is the ZR running, and what engine is the 205 running?
what type of gearbox is this?
Nice driving bud
Nicely done... it's in the ZR breeding!
nice, well driven!
Is it an faster playback?
Its look so fast i dont believe that is normal speed?
Great vid but is this a 200 I'm sure it is
You do realise who the ZT driver is? Ever heard of Paul Luti - MGZR and MGTF racer and part of the great Dreadnought garage, Callander, Scotland.
The MG Is An S2000 Spec
What engine is in that ZR? :)
enjoyyyyyyyyyy
7:50 You little snake :))
hi all just bought this car any one have any information on this car thanks
Do you still have it.
Yes I still have the car
We have a video of a MG ZT race car. Should check it out if you can.
first-class driving, by the way
should of had a vvc metro there to
hi av just bought this car anyone have any information on this car thanks
can anyone tell me anything good about mg's, im being serious as im interest in buying a zr with a t16 in, thanks
Looked like knockhill circuit
.....and how is it poorly driven? That's a 1528KG car on road legal tyres. Every car around it has a much faster corner speed due to simple physics.
selling 75 for zr haha:)) nah i love my 75 :D even if it's bigger and slower but still ... even the zr and zt we're in the front pack in the lead so that not really bad :D
Now if the zr was a v8 mmmmmmmmm
Well driver..
this is the guy that nobody wants on the circuit
ZT driver was disgraceful. Get him out of it.
Ashamed of how poor the V8 is being driven
Soz but the MG V8 driver just not going for it enough
soz but he has to keep tyres.
I used my brain and come to that conclusion.

This video it definitely sped up
honda engine...that's for sure b series
It's actually a JUDD built 1.8 Rover K-series engine. Much nicer than a Honda B-series 😉
