I know the USFL teams have mascots and cheerleaders, they need to show them on TV. Makes the game more fun. They should try to have a musical artist perform at half-time. Could bring in more attendance to the game

There were likely more actual attendees than this year for the 2022 USFL Championship at hall of fame stadium. That was the best look for a championship crowd on TV due to the smaller stadium.

I agree, the 2022 USFL Championship was the best looking game for sure.

Can't wait for year 2 of the UFL especially when we finally have a full off season to prepare for lile 9 or 8 months instead of only 2 months huge difference

For sure! Hopefully they can take advantage of the full offseason and market well in the 8 markets.

It would have been far better at a neutral site as expectations for St Louis were built up because of the usual attendance for the Battlehawks but that's for the home team and they specifically chose this stadium for this years championship thinking they would have a great crowd. Many of these tickets were probably sold during the season when they had hope that the Battlehawks would be there and had they beasten the Brahma's, you might have seen a record attendance as a lot of people held back possibly for this reason thinking the Battlehawks might not make it. Then the Brahma's come in with a disastrous game where the Battlehawks likely would have played a lot better.
Three factors I think killed the Brahmas. First, I think that they were so ramped up that they didn't expect to be here that they did too much partying which a weeks time away hurt them. Second, Wade Phillips has a reputation for underestimating his opponents and I think he came into the game with pretty much the same strategy as a few weeks ago thinking it would still be a winner. Third, the Stallions have been here before and the Brahmas haven't so they're less experienced with handling big games which we even see in the NFL with a young team in the Super Bowl as even if the team itself has been there, this incarnation of the team hasn't been.
Look at the Detroit Lions and how they blew the championship game knocking them out of the Super Bowl as they had a similar mix with this issues especially with the head coach as he was taking chances he didn't need to take where earlier in the season maybe he had to, He got used to doing this and in the big game it bit him in the ass.
If the Brahmas had another week to prepare to get the celebrations out of their system, if Wade Phillips altered his gameplay a bit more taking into account that the Stallions would be better prepared for his gameplan. If they brought in some seasoned pros in the form or retired NFL Super Bowl veterans to build them up a bit more... they might have had a better chance.
Overall, the Stallions played just good enough as they've been playing the past few weeks but the brahmas came in totally unprepared to play any team in the league let alone the Stallions.

I think the third reason you gave is the biggest one. The Stallions have now been to a championship game in 3 straight years compared to the Brahmas who have a coach who has never been to a championship game as a HC and who also has a history of blowing big games as well. I do also agree with you that the hype had gotten into the Brahmas' heads as well.

I remember when everyone who is a XFL fan use to say that the USFL was a weak league and the only reason the Birmingham Stallions had a good record was because they had all home games the first season.
The Birmingham Stallions shut all that trash talk up. I mean, these guys went 11-1 twelve weeks straight with no bye week and capped it off with a shutout UFL Championship win!

Ticket prices are the biggest factors for STL they are the highest in the league compared to everyone else. When STL opened for sections tickets started off at $18 before fees for nose bleed seats. Compared to STL @ Bham when they open more sections it was $10 a seat at with a good field view. UFL gambled on the battlehawks making and potentially hitting 40k again I could see them coming back to STL year 4/5.
The highest Bham season ticket was $85 a game with all inclusive food and drink
Panthers $60 a game with VIP access
    San Antonio $95 no perks
    STL had $105 no perks
(These are all 50 yard line seats)
I would love to see a video over ticket prices because they is a large gap between venues and we have to take that into account on attendance.
I also would keep it in smaller stadiums for the first 3 years to really show better on tv

Another issue with ticket prices is how all the USFL teams saw their prices increase by a pretty big amount which makes it even more remarkable that Michigan was able to improve in attendance. I could possibly see St. Louis host the Championship again, but it would have to be at least 5 years like you said due to how bad the crowd looked on TV. I personally think the Championship game should possibly go back to the Hall of Fame stadium for the reason that it is a smaller venue that could potentially be sold-out if the league grows in popularity.

Not a lover of the NFL but all it would take for the UFL to continue indefinitely is the NFL to come out and claim it as a minor league, maybe toss some money the UFL`s way.
I`m a Showboat`s Fan Hope they get another chance an O`line next year.
Kudos and congratulations Stallion fan`s. Thanks ZombPhox for another great year of coverage.

Thank you for being a fan of the channel! I do think the Showboats have a decent shot at being good next year pending most of their skill position players return, as if they do they can fix the O-Line and have a truly elite offense. I do think the defense will need a decent overhaul which would be my biggest concern as of right now regarding Memphis. While the USFL and XFL had their small partnerships with the NFL I do think getting something bigger (not necessarily being an official minor league) would be great for the UFL to have.

27K is a great showing since STL didn't play. No other stadium would have done as well without their team playing.

I definitely agree in regards to paid attendance, but in-person I think a neautral site would have done better as well as SA.

Shame on StL. Agree wholeheartedly! The crowd was spread out granted but looking at this after the fact probably less than 15k. As for the game. Can’t script it right? Unless your the National Fixed League. And get away with it! (Sorry NFL fans but I don’t like it anymore and would take drastic change for me to be Intrested again).

@@bruceellenburg429 there’s a novel of reasons why nobody should watch that league. But the blind follow the blind. I loved the league as a kid til about early 20s. Then Super Bowl xxx woke me up. Neil O Donnell making throws that a pop warner QB wouldn’t think about doing. I knew it was fixed. And I’m not even a Steelers fan 🤣 I think the league went to shit when Goodell took over. IMHO

A shutout for the championship is definitely not how you want the season to end.
