    Great video I like the reds shown but it makes it seem like that is all we grow russets are the most common grown potato in the region if not then the state. But I enjoyed learning about the new red varieties that are making there way into the state hopefully they will be good for the industry.

    A bag of potatoes not only sustains us when we're low on funds, it actually is one of the most healthy foods that can sustain people. Fingers crossed they aren't spraying chemicals and doing it by newer corporate methods other than using gas powered machines to process them out of the Earth and into super markets. Do Idaho potatoes qualify as organic like they traditionally would or are they sprayed with chemicals?

      What you don't understand is that the genes they added were potato genes already they just transfered them from one variety of potato to another

    • @squiddi1393
      @squiddi1393 9 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      GMO's aren't bad. Growth hormones (steroids), pesticides, herbicides, etc, are bad to use. GMO products have their genres altered, there isn't anything bad being put into them. Instead, their changed DNA yields bigger and more nutritious foods.
