{ analog } Wet-Plate Photography by Geoffrey Wallang

- Geoffrey Wallang practices wet plate collodion photography in his spare time. One time, I was driving down the Squamish Valley Road, and in the middle of nowhere, I see Geoffrey in his darkroom tent. As a photographer who loves all things analog, seeing this process has always fascinated.
I had to privilege of joining in on the graduation portrait by going behind the tent and capturing the process on camera. To capture in this low light situation, I choose my Fujifilm X-T4 with a Metabones Speedbooster, and a Nikon 50mm f/1.2. This doubles the light gathering ability, making my 50mm field of view have ~ f/0.95 effective (please tell me if my estimate is incorrect!).
