Michigan beat all THREE of its biggest rivals, beat two highly ranked opponents, and four of their five losses were to other ranked opponents. Considering there wasn't a QB on the roster I'd say it's the greatest 8-5 season ever!
@@freeheeler00 Y'all wanna say this is the greatest 8-5 season ever but who are you comparing your 8-5 season to??? Tell me about all the other 8-5 teams/seasons that have been had that you researched. I'm waiting...
Oregon is here to stay, probably replaced Penn State at a seat at the table but usually falling flat. Only saying that cause they have yet to crest that title game
They (national media) keep saying that winning a Natty erases ○hio's lost to Michigan. Imagine Michigan winning a Natty but losing to ○hio who's 6-5 at home.... It would be the worst Natty ever.... Not even sure I'd want to celibrate it.
Sherrone Moore had to fully replace a staff. There was no continuity amongst this staff. He had no QB, he had to find/ promote a SC coach. DC, alladat for him to beat a loaded OSU team, getting the no 1 player in the ‘25 cycle. They definitely trending up. And I’m a Texas fan btw
Michigan has a chance to right historic wrongs if BU pops. The last #1 qb, hometown savior was Drew Henson and he kinda marked the end of our era of dominance over the buckeyes (and was a massive bust). I think we have the staff to succeed where we previously failed. It’s gonna be an action packed 2025-27!
He did an awesome job. He lost over 20 players from last years team most of them starters, lost almost all the coaching staff, and got almost no productivity from the QB position. They are getting better talent, the coaches who were brought on are getting used to how we do things, and we are on fire on the transfer portal. What I really love about Coach he isn’t scared to make the tough decisions. All I can say is Go Blue!
Bryce Underwood would be the No. 1 QB taken in this years NFL draft. I know that sounds crazy when you first read it, but if you stop and think and consider, you will realize that it is true.
I get the #1 overall player will always have hype but this out of hand. Quinn Ewers, Arch Manning, and Dylan Raiola didn't even have this much hype if you combined them. Let Underwood develop first and show he can play on the college level.
It’s too early to tell but I think the way Michigan is building their roster is going to be the best way. Spend big for the High school guys that fit the program, focus on development, and then use the portal mainly for depth. Portal players are just going to continue to get more expensive so schools like Ole Miss who rebuild through the portal are going to have to spend so much.
It's not disappointing when you evaluate what kind of skill position players Moore was left with. I think had he settled on Davis Warren earlier, they might have squeaked out another win...maybe two? But a walk on QB throwing to basically no one but TEs, who's best WR target in the bowl game was another walk on WR? That's pretty darn good. Team improved throughout the entire year, beat EVERY single rival (Minnesota, Michigan State and Ohio State) and added wins against USC and Alabama. And quite frankly, had we been like a typical team and scheduled a MAC team over Texas in the OCC, we're talking about an 8 win Michigan team.
C-Moore, on the anniversary of Michigan-Natty this year, we beat our divisional rivals. Moore crushed it in this upcoming recruiting class; what 5th best? The only thing that concerns me is showcasing the best recruit in 2025, Bryce Underwood, to showcasing his hizzor arm of a WR. Happy2025, 🎉Mr.Pickell, and GOBLUE🤘🏼& INSIGNABOWL#W🏆!
Don't want Lindsey to try to 'run with' ohio, but stick with what's worked the past 4 years. If he can make the downfield attack effective enough to stretch the defense Michigan will be a tougher out for anyone.
Took 9.5 games of the season Coach Moore was still trying to figure out how to exactly do this "head coaching" shtick. But once he got it figured out, went to Ohio State and Won, then Beat Bama on the road too with all their starters. It was fun to watch there at the end
3 of the 5 losses were to top ten teams and the fourth was to a top 20 team. you could be a legit top 20 team and be 8-5 with that strength of schedule.
People fail to mention that yeah we may be 8-5 right now but if we had an elite QB or even just an Average one we would be in the playoffs this year so most Michigan fans realize that
I suspect that the main characters of college football will be some combination of Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Texas, and Georgia. I would put Alabama or Oregon on this list, but I truly don't know if Lanning or DeBoer will be at their respective institutionfor a minute.
I love how suckeye fans are so angry we are not angry they still made the title game. We have a lot to look forward to and are excited for this Michigan Teams future!!!! What does Ohio State and Michigan Football have in common? They both spend their time thinking about Michigan Football 🤣
If you look at what is going to win the national championship,if Michigan has any semblance of offense they will be in the mix...nil and transfer portal has diluted teams...there is no more heavy talent teams...
Overly optimistic. Michigan will return to the mediocre Rich Rodriguez days. Bryce Underwood will need 2 years just to get going and they sure aren't going to win it all with him as a freshman so next year is finished already
Where would any team be without boosters? Dumb question. And also lost the whole defense staff and 18 of 22 starters fresh off that natty. But nobody wants to talk about that. Better question is, if OSU couldn’t win before the Ellison’s, how will they win after?
Trash. Won a couple games because ryan day is an idiot and alabama self destructed. Moore didnt out smart anyone. His offense is garbage and it doesn't appear to be improving
