What you dont know is that aistin john is secretly an ai created by 2 people names austin and john they were way ahead of their time but using their ai for good it makes videos you need. Its a perfect ai almost as if austin john is a perfect person😊
A quick and fast way to get auto build is go to the great sky island shrine for the ability to create. Walk down to the steps by the waterfall and jump off in the direction of the great plateau and then simply jump down into the chasm there. Look around for the roller coaster and you’ll be taken right to it.
For the last part: There's also a Refinery right outside of Lookout Landing on Hyrule proper. So you don't have to head all the way up, but it might not be there at the very beginning. edit: It's the big chunk of land right outside the north exit.
I'm not sure if you know but if you hold R and then up on D-pad you can throw items. So instead of using an arrow for the brightbloom seeds you can just throw them.
Yeah but shooting with bow is more accurate and you can throw further too, but ye for me I'd rather manually throw them instead, arrow in this game is too valuable to waste this way.
@@GorVala Huh, I already can throw even with melee selected, it just gonna switch to whatever you want to throw once you select it. With bow it's the same thing but it'll change to arrow targeting instead
@@GorVala no you can do it with a weapon out. You just start the throw animation then hit up on the dpad and it switches from your weapon to the item you're throwing
I found auto build completely by accident before I got the camera. I was exploring a sky island, jumped off and saw the chasm on the great plateau, fell into it, found the mine that’s right there, followed the mine tracks and just ended up at the auto build area
I came across the Auto Build on accident last night. Fought the Yiga boss twice, once after getting the ability, then again after wandering around for several hours and ending up under the Gerudo area(based off location name). It was a slight annoyance fighting with only 4 hearts and 1 stamina wheel but it is what it is.
Just a note - your minimap provides coordinates of your location whether or not you've illuminated the area. For example, the Miner's Armor you showed is at (-1072, -0555, -0521).
I love those coordinates, even watching videos of people playing non-english language versions of the game, I still know exactly where they are in game just by looking.
I don't know if you already know this (you probably do considering how many hours you already put in this game), but you don't need to attach items to an arrow every time you want their effect. Just hold R then Up to throw an item like you throw a weapon. It's faster and save your arrows when throwing lightbloom seeds.
@@rustyshackleford234 it's funny because the game tells this many, many times haha It tells you on the great sky iland, there's a shrine that teaches it and when you first got on the depths with Robbie there's an NPC who tells about it too, but seems like most players still miss on this xD
Also something I found out about the gloom today. Shield surfing prevent being affected by gloom. This also works with any vehicles. I don’t know how useful that is but might be something to look into
Using a cart shield or any type of shield with reduced friction, it seems stalhorse is not necessary for efficient gloom travel. Shield surfing over gloom has pretty much allowed me to get wherever I have needed to be without having to deal with gloom damage.
Another tip for people wanting to improve your battery quick: if you don't have enough small/large zonaite (or don't want to wait at the forge construct), it's better to farm whatever bosses you find in the underworld. (Considering you're experienced enough to beat them, but honestly with a bit of practice it's okay even with 4 hearts). They drop a ton of crystallised charges upon death even the easy ones like Hinox. It's great while you're exploring the depths, looking for Lightroots to also do that. Plus you'll probably need their parts to upgrade armour.
i love the depths. i use a fully upgraded set of gaiters of the depths for gloom resistance on the ground and from enemies. i even use a 40 base damage weapon that hurts me with gloom, so i fuse a shard of light to any weapon so that i heal when hitting anything, like enemies and ore deposits. have a ton of skateboards with a light on front for traversal, and speed buffs of course. if you dont speed buff you can also use a tier 3 glow elixir. anyone wanting to take on the depths if you have these things youll be unstoppable. will answer any questions :)
10:42 Another useful feature they added in TotK is the coordinates, it show up at the bottom right, right under the temperature, very helpful in pinpoint locations
I didnt really think this video was really what I needed until you mentioned that the temple was below the temple of time ruins. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I have not went there yet but it will definitely help shorten things

Honeslty thank you so much for this. The building mechanic has been an absolute chore for me so far in my playthrough. I hate how much they made it a focus in this game. It's actually been putting me off from even turning on my switch and playing the game. Im going to push and get autobuild as soon as I possibly can, otherwise there's no shot Im beating this game.

Instead of wasting your arrows when you need brightbloom seeds, you can just use the controls that would throw your weapon in hand and press up on the d pad and you can just throw the brightbloom seeds, they dont go as far as arrows but its good for when your running low

Wow! It's a really awesome coincidence that this video what's uploaded today because I was literally just on my way to go do Robbie's quest next so these tips couldn't have been more perfectly.
Please DO NOT waste ur arrows by attaching brightblooms to your arrows. Throw them instead! Do this by holding R and pressing the up arrow and then change to it! Also, once you get auto build, create some type of vehicle and then attach a brightbloom to the front. It will light up the way for you and itsnt too heavy
i found this place by accident today after watching this video a few days ago then when i got to the autobuild area by chance from just exploring i remembered your video and was so proud of myself when your video confirmed i was in the correct area lol

@Austinjohnplays did you realize that the topography underground mirrors that of the surface? Mountain ranges become canyons and seas and lakes are the blacked out areas. Makes traveling the underground a lot easier!

This game has been so fun. Do you have any tips on how to get weapons with decent durability quickly in the early game? Because bokoblin and moblin arms break too quickly
You can also just go down a chasm on the great platue before starting the camera quest and into the structure and get autobuild, then Beat or die to kohga and then fast travel out if need be.
You can actually just toss the seeds to get light (if you don't need it to go far ofc). It saves arrows that way and some people might be in need of those :P

The difficulty of the enemies depends on the hidden XP system. It has nothing to do with the main quests insofar as the bosses giving you 300XP. Still technically possible to be getting red enemies if beating the boss is the only thing you do.
Had the game a few weeks now and only just found out about stalhorses, like had't heard anybody talk about them. Pesonally I think the depths become less interesting with lightroots activated, like the overworld but its constant daytime
In fact, there is one meal that recover your lost hearts. The recipe is given by one girl in Kakariko. And is fry rise with the “solario “ plant. The one that you found only in the sky islands. 😊
I ended up finding Autobuild before the camera on complete accident cause I just wanted to visit the great plateau and after I had my fix I decided to explore elsewhere. God, I absolutely love this game.
To get autobuild 1 fall down the hole shown in the video 2 activate the nearby lightroot 3nl travel south to the circular structure shown on the map I watched like 3 dif videos and none of them explained it in simple terms like that
If you have the sage of lightning aka riju and you don’t have a light root neer you and your out of light if you activate her ability you can see where the gloom is and where the regular ground is

To go through the gloom, just fuse the sled device to your shield and you can slide right on through all the gloom areas like they’re sand or snow
Skeleton horses also work!
u can sled on any shield without the device

yeah i got more clear directions using an ign guide lmao. Glow armor was nice tho.

There are Stalkoblins and Stalhorses in the depths too, the horses are unaffected by the gloom so you can ride them on it safely as well.

You can also just toss the flower buds and they'll still activate.
Push R and Up on the D-Pad
Also quick tip you can throw a bright seed on your craft so that way it'll brighten your view as you travel!

Tip for underground: Shild surf will bypass gloom effect on the floor makes it easy to jump over gaps or downhills

In relation to poes tou can get an armour called "(piece) of the depths" which has gloom resistance for cave exploration

Fuse stuff more often, also it’s surprising to see what you can fuse, a stick to a banana. A spear to a minecart

At 10:20 i didnt understand, do you get amiibo gear from botw or do you need to have used the amiibo in a botw save?
There's also a construct that does energy wells to battery right outside of lookout landing to the north
