Oh, I remember my grandfather playing this game every night, I’d always get afraid of the sounds the game made as a child haha. He died during the pandemic (he was leaving either way, but we think he did catch covid while in the hospital) but seeing this stream highlight makes me smile and bring me back to my grandparents house. Trap assassin isn't good in single player without access to runewords, in normal and nm the difference between builds isn't an issue, every build can beat NM, not every build can speedclear hell with single player builds

If you're playing with LoD, 2 really good necro runewords, for nightmare mode Dol-Io, is an insanely good necro wand, and Sol-Um-Um is for necro-specific armor. They have so many spells on them it's nuts, including +all spells. If you want a good cheap runeword for a weapon on normal, Ith-El-Eth gets +100% chance of open wounds, -100 monster defense and -25% target defense on hit, but it has drain health -5 so you need regen to use it, but that's easy enough.
