I miss how Godzilla used to throw hands like a seasoned fighter and do judo shoulder throws with the atomic breath used as the ultimate end all power move. Nowadays all he does is rush his enemies and spam the atomic breath ray. I want Godzilla to be a skilled hand to hand martial artist again.

saw this as a kid in the south bronx with a black audience. the best way to see it. Audience cheered and made up dialogue for the monsters. It was hilarious and fun for a the 6 year old watching his first Godzilla film on the big screen.

To me, these films were classics & I assumed someone at TCM was wise enough to believe the same. It took until 2019 for someone at TCM to wise up lol

I always liked this Megalon and Gigan duo. Felt like the perfect pair of villains to give the heroes a hard time but eventually lose in the end.
