Please people....ferry safety 101. . .Keep your windows fully open. Wind them down all the way. Do not fasten your safety belt and remove your childrens safety belts and harness if they are on a child seat until you exit the ferry. This is because:-
1. in the event of submersion, the change in pressure will suck the passangers off the vhiecle increasing the chances of rescue.
2. You can clearly hear instruction or warning on the ferry loudspeakers
3. Once submerged, the car battery dies and you cannot roll down the windows. Even safety belts jam under water.
