Say what you want, prime eddie hall in beast mode was untouchable in static strength contests. Look at his log and axel press PBs, all shoulder/arm strength, no leg/hip movement to help lift those weights. 800lbs dead lift for reps....10. Viking press....15 with NO double dipping at all, unlike a certain other strongman we all no. That famous night he became the first man in history to deadlift 500KG, still the most impressive and memorable moment in the history of strongman. Eddie THE BEAST hall may not be to everyone's liking, but there is no denying that at his best, (beast) he was king of the static strength tests. Larry, though impressive for what he did, is just not in the same league as the beast. All this chat about "eddie is heavier" so it's a unfair comparison is just claptrap. SU got it spot on. In WSM there is no weight class, you are either strong enough at multiple disciplines (regardless of your weight or height) or you are not, simple as that. I personally believe that if he had a mind for it that THE BEAST could improve on the axel/log press PBs he has. The deadlift would be hard to improve on, but if he had of kept in beast mode shape I'm confident he could deadlift 510kg maybe even 515kg. IMO eddie will always be regarded as one of the best strongmen the sport has ever seen.
People are forgetting Eddie was putting up those insane numbers In competition with the pressure on. Multiple events over multiple days. Larry couldn’t do that day after day like strongmen do. WSM is a week long contest of those extremely heavy weights, it’s just a different world of strength

@@StrengthUniverse im not saying Larry is stronger than eddie. But you did not pick his best PRs, set when he was the strongest. For ex his incline 1rm is way more impresive than his rep pr from many years ago.
All Larry needs is to add some water weight and some solid fat and watch blood pressure and the sky is limit. Dude is way to “lean” considering his lifts, but Eddie is built for damage dude can move a tank if he wanted
The thing about Larry Wheels is he is in great shape and a powerhouse The Best of both worlds most powerlifters are not built like Larry or Kevin da hulk Washington
I would’ve loved to see Eddie try a max strict or push press out of the rack. He strict pressed the 476lb axle, but that was after cleaning it which takes a lot out of you. He had similar pressing power to Zydrunas who says he did a 440lb strict press for 5 reps and a 573lb push press out of the rack

The fact that larry is even close to eddie with his weight it's insane. Larry could really become one of the strongest ever, if he focused on strongman and put some weight.
you clearly never have used a wobbly bar. Its much MUCH harder to use than a normal bar. It literally feels like an earthquake with 100kg, imagine 220kg.
@Erebus Khan I didn't cut Larry short based on Eddies use of a wobbly bar, it was due to touch and go reps and the use of elbow wraps on the incline press which make a huge difference. As shown in the video 8 x 345kg provides a theoretical squat of 428kg but as stated in the video as this was "Theoretical" I listed the squat as a draw even though on paper the victory probably should have gone to Eddie.
So you think an earthquake bar that is the most wobbly would get the most weight on it? Whip mid lift doesn’t help, it works stabilizers and wants to throw the lift off track and end it.

It is not really fair using so many clips of Larry where he wasent at his strongest.
Also why No flat press. Larry is Best at flat, because he trains that the most
Every lift I used for Larry was his PR in that particular lift so please explain how on earth "Larry where he wasn't at his strongest"?
@@StrengthUniverse im not saying Larry is stronger than eddie.
But you did not pick his best PRs, set when he was the strongest. For ex his incline 1rm is way more impresive than his rep pr from many years ago.
@@carlemilcarl6249 🤦♂️
Creepy whisper is added attraction
How do u calculate the dot score??
www.liftercalc.com/
What is the song
All Larry needs is to add some water weight and some solid fat and watch blood pressure and the sky is limit. Dude is way to “lean” considering his lifts, but Eddie is built for damage dude can move a tank if he wanted
The thing about Larry Wheels is he is in great shape and a powerhouse
The Best of both worlds most powerlifters are not built like Larry or Kevin da hulk Washington
This implies that Eddie is THE world's strongest man. He just won it once. Word it better.
Who do you think can take Eddie statics numbers? Is he the strongest individual based on overall lifts?
5:25 Imagine Larry reaching 1000 fat percentage 😮
How about who would win in a fight
I think that would be as obvious as the outcome of this video👍
Didnt know larry was so young i was shocked. Im actually older i thought he was like late 30s
Super impressive by both. Considering Larry is 40kg:s lighter than Eddie. I couldn't dream of even coming close to either ones level.
There standing OHP’s are pretty close iirc, Larry could have pressed in the upper 400’s strict if he kept at it.
The Bricks are heavier then the plates concerning the last lift with the dumbell overhead press.
Larry is almost 100kg lighter and he also trains for aesthetics, truly surprising that he is so close!
Larry - No doubt.
Lol says who Eddie won wsm Larry can't even do the altus stones without tearing bicips Larry is nowhere near prime Eddie hall
Larry's lifts are far more impressive. I don't think there will be another Larry wheels ever again
Keep in mind that Eddie is like 155lbs larger and has more muscle with that. Idk a lot of these lifts I’d give Larry the win over Eddie just for actually keeping up with someone so much heavier
thats not how it works. the weight lifted is all that matters, doesnt matter the size of the guy that lifts it
@@Hugh.G.Rectionx man do some more research
@@chavalomiguel5587 no amount of research will make larry stronger than eddie. educate yourself
@@Hugh.G.Rectionx true but what u said isn't 100 correct
@@chavalomiguel5587 when comparing weight lifted, the weight lifted isnt 100% correct???? ok what should also be measured when comparing weight lifted?
i'd love eddie vs ronnie coleman
How do you get an 8ft wobbly bar?
Id love to see how Larry would stack up if he had the same body fat % as eddy. Would be an incredible comparison.
Honestly 1 Eddie hall is not in peak condition in most those lifts only the 500k dead lift witch was after a whole event 2 I think you find Eddie also doesn't have alot of body fat
@@Alphamind123 yeah I’m sure eddy could lift a bit more in his peak performance. You’d be surprised how much stronger you get just going from 10% body fat to 20%. When ever I cut body fat I always get weaker even on PEDs.
@@Alphamind123 eddie has a much higher body fat than Larry easily a 10% difference
Eddie Hall was the god of strength.
Larry probably would do great at WSM but I believe if he upped his body weight he could actually be pretty competitive
Whats the math to calculate the total output??
Are we raking weight into consideration?
I touch on that at the end of the video
This is out of curiosity
How about eddie hall vs Ronnie Coleman
It's here mate: th-cam.com/video/UBrjbFvC2VY/w-d-xo.html
Forever eddie the beast hall 💪💪👍
Eddie is just the human hydraulic press.
I wouldn't take either one's lunch away without permission. 😆 Eddie is a beast.
Could have compared their flat bench because all pressing in the video was incline or overhead.
Larry's best raw paused bench press is 295kg - 650lbs. Eddie's best is claimed to be 300kg - 661lbs. The result would have been the same
@@StrengthUniverse ok thanks was just wondering 👍
Looks to me like we just saw the power of food vs calorie counting physique.
The fact that larry is even close to eddie with his weight it's insane. Larry could really become one of the strongest ever, if he focused on strongman and put some weight.
But who of them can Zercher Front raise the most? 🤔🤔
Both mogged
@@StrengthUniverse as it should be. They aren't living it until they zercher shrug half a ton for reps
You just cant compare The Beast to anyone. clean form crazy weight.
U can kinda use that wobbly bar to bounce up with momentum, wouldn't cut Larry so short on that comparison, on the incline/squat
you clearly never have used a wobbly bar.
However, that same momentum bouncing up also bounces down more at start and end of the rep. It works both ways.
Eddie hall for me just awesome
The question is did both Eddie and Larry take 'enhancement' supplements when lifting at their peaks?
The answer is yes
Only goats milk and prune juice brother.
Larry Wheels is a freak, but Eddie is a freakier freak
