Yale panning reserve has some really really really nice fine gold this season. Cant wait until the water goes down more and you can get at the big boulders. Was up there this weekend and found loads!
gold can best be found on rivers that come down from mountains. if you're near an outlet of a river that has deposited gold you may have some luck with finding gold
@@CostcoComrade Where i live is island and we got no river but we do have our own water from our own soil and soil is very rich with underground waters. But interesting thing is that we got a stream/creek that is positioned just under the cliff of the hill so once we get rain, all water gathers and falls downhill into that stream/creek and seeems like a mini river. When summer days come from May until October that creek is dry. So my question is: Would it be stupid to check it out or i should not even bother myself with it? Thanks a lot!!!

Check your state's regulations on gold panning. In WA, we have to be very careful not to disturb salmon nests underwater, nor cause erosion on the banks, so we can only pan from the dry gravel or sand bars...which is where he's digging & panning (albeit in BC, not WA). Anyway, most states will list sites where gold panning is legal as well as how it's legal versus illegal. Happy splooshing!
