Welcome back, Stu -- clearly a huge summer bloom-wise. Gonna hunt down Pine Rivers and the MV Tannins for my own shade house. Those blooms, man. Out of this world.
@@hybridmoments82 hello, those are not quite for sale just yet unfortunately. Growing them out just a little while longer will.help them in the long run when they go to their new homes. :) I will keep everyone apprised if they go on sale!
So sorry... by mistake I deleted my comment from the other day in which I was saying how much I value your perspective in growing vandas and appreciate your videos; your channel is a GEM. Thanks for sharing your precious knowledge. It is clear that vandas are a real passion to you - as they are for all of us here. Cheers from Canada!
Beautiful vandas you have. Your videos are the best for any vanda grower. Here is a question that you probably can answer. I have a vanda with beautiful red flowers that are not fragrant. Its sepals are open but its petals are culed up. So you got to see three petals only. I don't know the name. Infact i havent seen this unique pattern in orchids.
My Vandas aren't doing anything except growing. You are the second person to post a video with Lou Sneary in bloom in the summer, I don't get it, mine only bloom in the winter. And I'm still (impatiently) waiting for Van Rainbow Stars to ever bloom. Bought as a division but the plant is plenty large enough, a basket full of roots, five basal growths, gets as much light as I can give it without it burning and has yet to bloom after three years.
Incredible collection of Vandas! Wow...I'm super stoked seeing so many in bloom at once. I know someone who just purchased the Insigne x Mimi Palmer and it was a previously bloomed plant. She should be happy with her purchase. Hard to say which is my favorite but I wouldn't mind having all of them here in my living room. If I can bloom Pine Rivers and Pachara Delight twice a year, would Mimi Palmer and her hybrids grow just as well? I guess I'm asking if Mimi Palmer requires more light and heat than PR or PDelight. What is the name of the Pine Rivers hybrid? Thanks for a great video and your input.
It really depends on plant health to be honest. The plants that arent blooming could need more fert and light possibly. You can do it! Just keep going!
Iam very jealous 😹. They are beautiful. I must say Iam still waiting for your fertilization regimen.... you promised 👏👏. I just realized that you are a professional grower. Now I don’t feel an inadequate grower 😳😳😩😩. On your website you said you use dyna gro is that the one especially for orchids. Thanks
When you get those results you r a professional 👍🏻👍🏻. You r doing something right. I just received the dyna gro orchid fertilizer. Hopefully my vanda roots and spikes would look like yours. 🤞🤞🤞. It’s been raining all day everyday here in boca Raton. I hope I don’t get rot. Will spray physan this weekend. Keep sharing your wealth of info. I do appreciate it. Thank you.
