My parents clearly were not wealthy by any means at the time. But honestly I urge people constantly to get involved with your community and hold your family close as much as you can. I mean obviously not for only helping with your wedding but emotional support, advice, helping out with kids, teaching life skills and mainly since having kids just being aware who is filling our kids heads with what information.

I wore Betsy Johnson rhinestoned sneakers for less than $100. Our wedding was in the woods and it rained the whole day before. Literally could not have picked a better shoe, one of the best decisions I made!

To prevent hangovers drink as much water as you can keep down before you fo to sleep. Everytime u wake up take a sip, and if you throw up drink more water. This will flush the by-products of alcohol metabolism and keep your electrolytes more balanced.

I bought $30 shoes off Amazon.. they were amazing and beautiful.. and we left one whole week after for our honeymoon so I didn’t have to worry about packing before the wedding 🫶🏻🥰

I’m sorry, but for me these would have been no-brainers. 😅 I wouldn’t ever think it’s okay to spend $1500 on a pair of shoes on any occasion, nor would I think I could make international flights the day after so much social interaction and alcohol consumption… but I mean, these are *your* regrets not mine. We live and we learn. Lol It’s good to share your experience in case someone else out there hasn’t considered it.

Tbh I think the problem was with the shoes being Amina muaddi. Her quality and price don’t match at all she’s the industry plant of designer shoe brands imo
And let’s not shame her for spending $1500 on shoes, it’s her money, she clearly can do that if she wants. It’s not uncommon for designer shoes to be pricey.

I would NEVER pay $1500 for shoes or purses; esp someone unknown. I’d rather spend it on something I get most uses for. Just like a wedding gown. I’d rent instead of but. Cuz I’ll never wear it again.
And here I am planning on buying myself some comfortable white flats from Wal-Mart or something to wear during the reception...
I'm totally with you! Lol I'm getting married in two weeks and I got these really cute white Sandals with daisy flowers on them that cost 16 dollars, best part is I can wear them again with any outfit and they're comfy :).

I wore fancy Keds. Cute, easy to walk in, and I could wear them after the game wedding and remember that special day. They cost 60$.
And no-my wedding wasn’t small, nor was it casual. I had a ball gown with a cathedral-length train. I’m just not looking to break an ankle on the way down the aisle …plus my husband is an inch shorter than me, so heels were a no-go anyway.
My wife and I didn't do a wedding and saved prolly $20k. Winning

I feel like you did not listen to LITERALLY ANY PERSON that has gotten married before. These are all mistakes people have made before like leaving for you honeymoon the next day after a big party is dumb af when you know you don't want to get up till 1pm

These are kinda safe made ones. Putting thay much money on a shoe like that is foolish. Any embellishments stuck on the toe like that are either gonna fall off or be ripped off.

1. If I got the money, I will spend it how I want! I thought I was paying for quality and clearly I wasn’t

Surely you could of taken the shoes back? Normally most designer stores would allow you returns up to one year if they have a manufacturer fault
The broke during my wedding weekend and that was the first time I wore them! I had a destination wedding there was no way to take them back before the wedding! I also bought them months before. I just had a cobbler fix the shoe when I got back home
