@paulj8539 And earn themselves a lifetime of contempt of court cases that are decided not by a jury but by the judge themselves as it is a misdemeanor. Admitting dislike IS grounds for removal because it shows a bias on the case. Obviously in high profile cases like this it's nearly impossible not to have an opinion but admitting that opinion aloud is an absolute disqualification.

I was a writer/reporter for one of the largest motorcycle magazine in the USA and I had to sign an NDA! There have been dozens of law suits where NDA’s were signed and even dismissals from employment that involved NDA’s nothing criminal
The NDA is a red herring. This case isn't about the NDA, its about the illegal way he reported the expenditure and the methods he was using to influence the election. Fox is really misleading the audience with all the focus on the NDAs.

NDA's can be accomplished, and can be paid for in legal ways. Afterward, if you illegally falsify business records to hide the expense, it is a problem. That action is illegal. If you do that by directing others to do the same, it is a criminal conspiracy.
Short version. In this case, without that deception in 2015, it would have been physically impossible for Donald Trump to be elected in 2016. He lied his way into being paid to work as a servant of the people. One of his paid duties was to protect the peaceful transfer of power in 2020. He refused. Those events were near the top of the avalanche. Trump left behind a paper trail which is now being discussed as evidence. He could only delay punishment for eight years (so far).
You may have signed an NDA, but they didn't give you an IQ test. If they did, you would know that it has nothing to do with the NDA itself. It's how it's used, just like having a car isn't illegal. But it's a crime if you run someone over with it.

I've been on two juries in my life, and in one of them the defendant was really disrespectful, being openly nasty to the judge and several of the other jurors said he looked directly at them with a sneer on his face. They convicted him, not so much on the evidence (which was pretty bad for him anyway) but on his crappy attitude.
Now trump is in the courtroom falling asleep, murmering loudly at people, all that act. And while that stuff plays to his base and they call him a total boss for being like that, it REALLY turns a jury against you.
I can't say whether the evidence in this case leads to a guilty verdict, though it does sound pretty bad, but I can guarantee that his antics in the courtroom are sinking his chances fast.

Congress wrote a bill in 1996 that was signed into law in 1997 by Bill Clinton. $17 Million of our taxpayer dollars went to settle these lawsuits brought against both Republicans and Democrats through 2014. No dollar figures on the site for years of 2015 thru 2017. In 2017, there was an amendment written by Congress that "Congress people are now 100% responsible for their actions and will need to pay their own settlements. Signed into law by Donald Trump in 2018. You would be amazed at what the Government hides from the American people... I feel bad for those who believe what they are told without doing research into what goes on in the shadows. It's easy to just believe what someone tells you rather than trying to dig to the truth... it's not easy.

Correct. This case is total garbage, and they know it. If they manage to get a conviction, it'll undoubtedly be overturned on appeal. But that will be long after the election. This is Plan B, of course. Plan A was to bankrupt him by taking all his assets. That one didn't work out the way they expected, though. Plan B is to keep him from campaigning. Plan C will come into play shortly after the election, if Trump still manages to win. That's why they're trying to eliminate his Secret Service protection.

All I heard was smears and dishonesty from prosecution and a judge allowing in irrelevant smear evidence and always supporting prosecution in objections but never the defense.
