Love jasmine too ☺️👌🏼 intoxicating scent of an evening! Here it blends in with the scented stocks and it’s just a pleasure to be out at dusk taking it all in after doing all the evening watering ☺️
beautiful plant My parents had a jasmine bush and we used to collect the blooms to make jewelry in our childhood. It smells awesome. Yours is looking great.
We have a Jasmine, it's beautiful and the scent is amazing! The only problem is it can run away if you're not careful lol And it's easy to propagate from cuttings and if you get a stray plant growing you can dig it up and cut it from the main plant and then plant it elsewhere. Have a great weekend All the best Steve
@@westlondongardener4476 My wife wants rid of the Jasmine as it's too unruly. I can't cut it back as we have sparrows nesting in there. So I doubt I'll be propagating lol.
That's a great idea Ahsan...thank you 😀 i will do one in a few months in late spring, as the jasmine plant is currently dormant ( just coming out of winter) and it's currently not looking it's best 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Thank you 💗💗 Initially you do, but once it grabs onto the trellis it kind of trains itself. Although if i have the odd branch sticking out i might tie it in. I will do an update on it soon, as it is starting to bud up 🤍
Hi :)) I remember planting my Jasmin plant after watching ur video :)) But now in Feb , it's not looking too well :(( . The leaves seem to have become brown .should I prune them away ? What do u advice to perk it back up again ?
Its normal for them to look unhappy in winter as they go dormant (go to sleep) as they are perennial plants. In spring they will come to life again. Mine is really big and bushy now but some leaves are yellowing espicially after the snow. So i will prune it a bit (not too much but any sad looking stems will get chopped off) soon and look forward to new growth in spring. In spring (mid march) also give it fertiliser to help it get started.

Beautiful plant 💚 do you have to tie it to the trellis or do anything else to train against the fence?
