    I am grateful for this demo! My Jasmine looks brave and lanky and tired and I will copy you this weekend! It’s May, in NY, but I hope by June the plant will be happy.

    Your jasmine is lovely after pruning . I’m learning about jasmine & we are in south Texas . My jasmine is tall & thin . The fragrance is beautiful . Any advice about making it fuller ?

    • @Myhomegarden-unlimited
      @Myhomegarden-unlimited  ปีที่แล้ว

      Pruning once a year is good enough. Don’t prune more than once in a growing season. I use Miracle gro bloom booster to encourage flowering cycles. Using it once a month works great. That’s more than enough for keeping the jasmine plant nice full and healthy.

    I bought small plant online last year. It has no buds yet this year. I removed leaves and all leaves came back . But no buds. Can you advise what needs to be done. Your video is very informative madam.

      You can buy Miracle gro Bloom Booster fertilizer and use it to encourage flowering. Works really well .

    Thanks Hema excellent! Please some advice: I uprooted an overgrown jasmin from a neglected garden (clay soil) with a good root ball but all very dry. I cut down the very long branches, re watered it and put it into a big pot on my balcony in the shade. Nothing seems to be happening to my favourite plant.
    Should I cut it down more or maybe add some loose soil? Just don't know what to do. Leaves have withered and certainly does not look happy ☹️

    • @Myhomegarden-unlimited
      @Myhomegarden-unlimited  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kate, did you add fresh potting soil in the pot while repotting? If so please wait, it will slowly start new growth soon. Also do not overwater , just give enough water and keep it in partial sun now. Hopefully it will show signs of growth soon.

      @@Myhomegarden-unlimited will let you know, the cut surface of the green branches is yellow outside and green inside so we're 50-50: the jasmin is a special variety because it has tiny leaves and a strong scent (Sicilian). It's on my balcony but gets very little direct sunlight-only early morning, thanks 😊

    Can I trim my lanky Supreme Duke? There are small leaves forming at the bottom but the top steps are bare. I don't know how to help it :(

    • @Myhomegarden-unlimited
      @Myhomegarden-unlimited  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi yes you can definitely trim the top branches and also prune the roots. Just make sure the temperatures are not too cold. If your weather conditions are warm for the next 15 days, go ahead and prune the plant, pot it up in new soil and keep in semi shaded location.

    Thank you for this video Hema. Very useful and well explained☺️ ☺️can we follow the same method to other plants including curry leaf ?

    • @Myhomegarden-unlimited
      @Myhomegarden-unlimited  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes absolutely! This method would work well for most perennial plants. Just be cautious about the timing and temperatures when you intend to do the pruning.

    Can you tell me where I can put jasmine plants in the winter season in the garage or living room ...

    • @Myhomegarden-unlimited
      @Myhomegarden-unlimited  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would suggest you to keep in living room next to a bright window. Fill cold water In spray bottle and spray the leaves nicely on every other day. Make sure the heat vent if not directly on the plant. Water the plant once a weeks.

    Hema do you live in the east? Do you keep the plat outside in April with the night temperatures at 30 or below

    • @Myhomegarden-unlimited
      @Myhomegarden-unlimited  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Aparna, I live in NC. I don’t keep the jasmine outside when temperatures drop below freezing temperatures, however the plant survives just fine once or twice unexpectedly below freezing temperatures. May be because the pot is larger and roots are not affected . If the plant stays in a rather small pot, I will not take the risk. Everything I say is based on what I experienced with my plant.

    I live in Kentucky,it is ok to do this procedure in the month of November ??

    • @Myhomegarden-unlimited
      @Myhomegarden-unlimited  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No please don’t do any kind of pruning during winter months. I strongly suggest you to do the pruning by the end of April during the evening time.
