Dear Patrik, it becomes a custom to hear you every evening playing on your guitar and it sounds always marvellous, like being a little time in heaven. I wish you a good night. May God bless you!
Hi Patrik! Fantastically well played! What a fine instrument and fitting video! The pieces was totaly new to me. Myself a prefer Sor over other composers if I get the oppertunity to choose! Thanks for nearly 13 minutes of pure pleasure! Take care! //Tobias
This is high quality throughout! Very fine playing of a neglected piece! It has some really marvelous moments harmonically wise, which makes it stand out compared to much of the other guitar music of this period.
Thank you very much! It's nice too notice that this work by Sor seems to get more appreciation after being neglected so long. I haven't yet performed the piece in concerts, looking forward to see what the reaction will be.
A beautiful sensitive performance on this old instrument that highlights different aspects of the piece when compared to other performances on more powerful midern instruments. Thankyou for the pleasure of listening to this.
I'm so glad you got back to playing 19th century reportoire! (no offense to the avant-garde conposer, just a preference) you provide such great interpretation of Sor
Thank you Danial! Those who follow this channel perhaps have seen that I like to share with listeners all kinds of repertoire... from the last 500 years. That's the beauty and richness of being a "classical" guitarist. ;)
Wonderful! Have never heard this before. You play beautifully as always. It's impressive how frequently you put out these superb and virtuosic recordings, I really appreciate it!
@@PatrikKleemola I appreciated the quality of the touch, the choice of execution times and the dynamics of interpretation ...Well the choice of strings ( Aquila strings may be ), even if the gut would be even more interesting but, there are short fingernails and unfortunately the gut suffers from this. Thanks for the great music moment.
Thanks a lot, Rui! Like I wrote in the preface, this used to be the most cryptic Sor piece for me, but I think I've found the "key" to this music now...
Just gorgeous , Do you think Sor played it as well ?!, he is certainly looking down smiling, do you feel a connection to Sor playing all this music so few do ? As nice as this is id still pick op 12 first to learn , still listen to that most days
@@PatrikKleemola you are such a beautiful guitar player ,all your music memorized too , so well trained , I really hope I can go to see you live someday,I watch you play Sor and immediately I want to go play a Sor piece
@@PatrikKleemola yeah. lol I actually thought that. I thought how great it would be to have a top notch quality Sor film. Your video is on par with the Bream one I have, although it’s a lot shorter than ¡Guitarra! It is of the same feel and quality I think. I think you could pull it off!
I mean it’s close to the Bream... (that was filmed over fifty years ago) that would be a ton of work, I get that. Maybe it could be done in parts over years... even decades.. but the finished product would be awe inspiring for generations to come!

Oustanding and memorable... and without score ! Thanks so much

I really enjoyed this performance, Patrik! Great emotion in your playing! Have you considered trying out genuine gut strings on that guitar? 🙂
Thanks, Josh! Yes, I probably should do the next recording with genuine gut strings...

Is that original Panormo? Or replica? Amazing instrument!
Yes, original like the title says (1838).
Oh,BTW, do you realize you even LOOK like Sor!?!
Nobody told me that before, perhaps next time I should dress accordingly...
