There’s also the hormonal aspect of the pregnancy situation. Adding that into the situation is like setting a bomb off. The friend should recognize the offender’s intentions should be considered especially if they are someone who they regularly joke around with.
Five’s A Crowd & Men Try are the first two channels in my commonly watched. I do not care how many times I have seen an episode, they always make my day ❤
Ahhh! My AITA comment. So exciting. My name Ratsirt83 is my first name and middle initial in reverse followed by the year I was born. It's old...so old lol Thank y'all for the entertainment. My boyfriend never watches with me...but he was tuned in with me for this one because he knows those people and was one of the people that knew his bathroom etiquette. ❤
You definitely didn't do anything wrong! If anything, if they were really wanting that lift, the mum could have easily told her son to cut those habits out. If that's what he does at work 🤢I don't want to know what he does at home. They should be grateful you didn't go spread it around, or report them!
If you enjoy reacting to Am I the Ahole you could incorporate it at the end of all your podcasts since there are hundreds of thousands of those online. Maybe you could even pick one that is somewhat related to your topic of the podcast for the day.
Virtual marathons started due to covid lockdowns but are used a lot by certain disabilities groups for fundraisers as not everyone can run so it opens up the door to everyone. You never know if the sil virtual marathon was for charity or not.
Oh man, seriously one of the best podcasts hands down! Just a group of 5 guy friends talking is so entertaining! Constantly laughing!! Also Cam, I also hate bikers on the road, they took away half our roads to put an effing bike path on half the street BUT we have an entire board walk they have to go on!! Like get off the road!
Arrivederci ! xD Love the AITAH episodes ♥ Maybe one day I'll figure a way to write up one for yall because theres one that's been on my mind ... but just getting it all typed out would be a long Book of a comment .... too many worms in that can to open up.
Marvellous chaps❤ totally agree with Can as far as cyclists go. Our city has spent millions on cycle lanes going into the city centre and they still cycle on the road.
I was adopted and I can understand how not being told can feel like the adoptive parents lied. My adoptive parents turned my adoption into a fairy tale which was my favourite story when I was young. Always thought Cam n Austin was more compassionate than some of the stuff they are saying or reacting.
In America you have to have a signed form from the joint custody parent before you take the shared child out of the country. If you don't have that and go any way it's possible to lose custody of the child to the other parent. Depends on the court and whatever record of joint custody shows
#taint loved the video! A lot of tired Dads 😂 Regarding the holiday story - you guys seemed to not have heard when she explained that her Ex has kept her daughter before, to ruin planned trips and her having to go to court etc. She is so not the AH. She is still in an abusive relationship with her Ex.
#Taint That was the perfect end! Also I was so focused on Austin talking I didn't even realise Cam had gone until it was pointed out 😂I had to rewind and I could see that leg shaking! One thing I will say about the Switch theft one, if the kid that got given the switch really is that young, the Cops didn't have to terrify him so to the point he's traumatised. The mother yes dealt with it horribly, but if the kid didn't understand the situation of what had happened, don't traumatise him for it! So the cop is a little bit of an a'hole for how he came across in his handling of it. Just wondering though, I'm assuming since we just had an Ask Men last episode, this was posted out of order? I also miss your deep dive/ Darker Episodes, whether it's Conspiracy related or on a specific topic like the Cecil. I was watching the JFK one again, and you guys mentioned one day doing Einstein, or Zach's top 10 mysteries, topics from that! Also a possible idea for Member perks, but with Men Try there's parts that get edited out, bloopers etc. Could that be a possible idea for 5ACP? either keeping in the parts edited out or post them as extras or something, if that makes sense?
So I have too kids, I was forced to put one up for adoption my daughter, then my son went to a family , they had different dads so they didn't take my daughter, my son I was supposed to be able to see him at the direction they stopped letting me see him after he turn 2 my daughter was closed adoption that's what the family that adopted her wanted. Also with my step it's almost like she is my child I've known her since she was 3 she is now 12, but we act so much alike that people think she is mine, her mom isn't in the picture doesn't come around, she calls me mom and says I'm a better mom then her real mother.
Ok I 100% agree that the adopted girl is being an A..HOLE. I am adopted and granted I was told about it early in my age. Her parents didn't lie if it was never brought up before and then when she did find out from someone else they said yes you were they didn't deny it so where is the lie. This woman needs to have her head examined and not by therapy. She owes her parents an apology she has no idea how she has hurt them. Yet she plays the victim shame shame on her.
They don't even stop her from getting in touch with her birth mother. The only part they did mess up on was saying she had no reason to be upset. But it's as Cam says, it's a conversation for the right moment, they didn't hold it from her to be vindictive, it is a sensitive subject, so yes, the relative is a c*nt for revealing that! She should be grateful, because without them she might not be where she's at now. She could have been adopted by horrid people!
I will say women’s sense of humor is different than a guys. I would be pretty ticked if my friend said something like that even joking. Pregnancy is a sensitive subject for women all together. More so than I think for guys. Loved Zach’s opinions. Another great one!!! 😊
I can relate to the adoption thing a little bit. I honestly think she is angry and upset but is saying she isn't. I grew up knowing my birth mom as my sister, they ( my mom, sister and grandpa) were going give me up and they decided not to. Which I'm grateful for because I love My family. My sister (bm) passed when I was six. She made a promise with my family that no one would tell me that I was adopted. Well her dad and his new family hit me up on fb when I was 13 not knowing Amy of this, saying my sister was my mom and that I had siblings ect. I kept asking my mom if this was true. On my 19th birthday my mom finally told me that I was and how my sister didn't want me to know. At first I was upset because I had so many questions that I knew would never get answered. And a year or two after that I came to terms with it. It never changed the love I have for my mom( grandma) or the rest of my family. In addition, to those who read this my sister died from her eating disorders and it wasn't really talked about in 2002 she was 23/24 and had anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder.
I think I understand the friend joking, & being the nice person I am, I would've probably gone along with it & laughed. But as someone who has been dealing with infertility for 4 years now & knowing how lonely, depressing, frustrating, & painful it is, my heart would sink inside. My husband would probably take the joke no problem, but as a women, you have to be in our shoes to get it. For the marathon, I can see the person simply being excited that they feel they've achieved something but I def. would've educated her too. For the grad, I think the parents knew what was happening with the sis & the kids, & that's why they omitted the info in the 1st place; they probably "thought" she would want them there because of how their daughter is so helpful with/loving of her niece/nephew.
Right out the Gate 🤣💀 My kids have come home multiple times with stuff from others kids, (didn't find out til later) & my daughter 1 time gave something to another kid. I had to shut that down real quick...lol #Taint
It's like me once a year we go on "vacation" to our friends house for my husband's bday not really a vacation but it in the middle of no wear we sleep outside and it on 4 acres of land so it a vacation to us
#taint not exactly the same, but one time nearing my birthday I walked my mom's room and saw a doll I had been BEGGING for on the bed and immediately snatched it and was like 😁 IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOREVER! And my mom was like ughhhh that's for my friends daughter her birthday is coming up and I initially was like 🤔🧐 but then very quickly was 💔☹️😞😢 then comes my birthday I'm opening presents and it was the doll I cant even imagine how my face looked. I was like you said it was for the other little girl my mom was like .....ya I lied you walked in while I was wrapping your presents I was like that was a very dirty trick...thank you but very very dirty
The baby joke is definitely not the asshole haha. She joked with her for years about this type of stuff..how was she supposed to know that one joke would make her upset haha
In reference to the pregnancy joke AITA: I think the mother-to-be didn't mind those jokes as much when she was struggling to conceive because it was a way for her to cope with it all. Joking to cope is very common, and those kinds of jokes tend to be dark humor. Once conception happened, the dark humor should probably have been drawn back some vs escalating to that level of dark. Joking about finances and whatnot is far different from joking about aborting a baby, especially after the hell her and her husband went through with it all. She was probably extremely scared of losing the baby after all the struggles, and she needed her friends there for support and excitement.
There was an update in the teenager who "missed" her flight so she wouldn't have to babysit who sister's kids. The mom promised the dad that she wouldn't invite the sister and the children. She did it anyway. The dad is an ahole because he should have shut that crap down years ago.
Cam, let's think back to the ass-picking & sniffing story. you kept calling the picker sniffer a kid ...if you remember the "kid" was a grown-ass adult man! Tell the mom was the right thing to do because she should never have to feel you need to clean everything before you use it! I would have gone to the boss because that's just sick (sick in a gross way) The man needs to be fired. I feel any boss would say: "You got to go; dude would say "But why" Boss says: " I draw the line at ass pick & sniff" Dude says: But I didn't ..... Boss: STOP! don't say another word, good god, look at your crap fill fingernails"
I'm adopted, i guess i'm one of the lucky ones, I knew I was adopted, I lived with my now adopted parents since about 3 months old, I was legally adopted at the age of 11. I wanted to change my name from my birth name, but my adopted parents said no because my name is unique and i'm named after my bio mom and great grandmother. Now that i'm older I understand why they didn't want me to change my name.
That's not what she meant by "not be grateful" she's saying that's not a reason to accept their anger and that she should accept the BS they gave her, no where dd she say she wasn't grateful for "life" and that they took her in.. I think the way you read it wasn't right (it can be taken a couple ways) but this is how I take it.. Just b/c someone is adopted doesn't mean they MUST be grateful just for being adopted (there are horrible adoptive parents too)
This will probably get lost on here but.. On the adoption subject, I think they have become sweaped up in the bio mom relationship, our family members went through the same when they were introduced to their bio family. In the beginning there is a bit of an uprise with feelings because yes they gave birth to you, but your adopted family also did in there hearts, u were there's from the moment they saw you and I think it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. They feel replaced by some one that's not been there admittedly not by choice but I think u need to cut ur adoptive family some slac, in there minds n hearts ur not adopted ur they're kid and always will be they clothed you took you to school stayed up with you when you was sick. Yes heart breaking your bio mom missed out on it but you need to learn how to balance them all not easy both of them r ur family u can change it , it just got bigger nothing to hate its just more people to love u. A lot of feelings and people being hurt try stepping back and look at it from an out side view. u seem to need some time to work on ur self theres no wrong in that , they wouldn't have wanted to tell you because of being scared of loosing you which this situation has proved them to be ture u can love multiple people . I hope things settle for you take care

My dad shouted out of his van at a cyclist that his back wheel was going around. The cyclist then looked at his back tyre. I laughed so hard
The first ten seconds of mentioning how a snap makes the sound due to the palm of the hand, and then everyone else joining in, had me laughing lol
I was with you guys to the end, it was another great crowd!
I just realized the last day of the year will be 123123 😮.

My dad is not my biological dad. I found out from a neighbour who had beef with my parents. He raised me so will always be my dad no matter what.

This was a nice and fun way to end my day. Thanks for the laughs! Love and hugs from Norway!
I love these, AITA... they're awesome! #taint
If virtual marathons count then is it virtual murder and robbery in all these video games? There is a difference. They are not the same. Definitions.
#taint Love Monday mornings!!! Great episode guys!
Well I was today years old learning that snapping fingers are exactly how Zack said!
#tante omg I love these AITAH’s
Yes we need to teach our kids of value. Hard work etc

On behalf of all country folks.. we do not pick our a*ses, nor do we condone the picking of yours, and most of us wash our hands 🤠 #rolltide lol

Oh and, ETA means "Edited To Add"
I agree about the word gaslit being over used. To me gaslit is someone takes what you say twist’s it then uses that against you
