Only an elite group of the grave worshipers practice the safe form of waseela: asking Allah by the baraka of so and so, which as I believe is NOT a major problem in Islam. The PROBLEM lies with the commoner grave worshipers who go and make rukoo and sujood to graves like you see in Dewatagaha, Ajmer Nagoor and other cursed places like that. The elite open the door this questionable form of waseela and the commoners (99% of the grave worshipers) go to the extreme of it. So Zakir Naik probably was talking about what goes on at dargas and NOT what the elite grave worshipers explain.
And by the way I am no fan of Zakir Naik but I have heared him say these grave worshipers are like eels who slip away giving distorted meanings to Quran and hadith, weird meanings that sahaba radiallahu anhum did not even know. And the only way to avoid them is to say will get back later without mentioning a time frame. These grave worshiper shaitans will create a problems with all other possible responses.

I got your point that Dr. Naik was wrong. Can you mention any Hadith or Verse form quran which allow Waseela? Was Prophet Muhammad teach his Sahaba's for Waseela for the previous Prophets like Ibrahim (PBUH), Isa (PBUH) or Mosa (PBUH)?. If this practice was not in during Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH), why are we introducing new practice. Can we say Waseela as Bidah instead of Haram??

    • @ZishanAmjad
      @ZishanAmjad 9 ปีที่แล้ว +11

kaka Waseela is allowed the only problem is wahabis dont want to accept it. let me quote quran
يا ايها الذين امنو اتقو الله و ابتغو اليه الو سيلة
O believers fear Allah and seek waseela towards him 9surah maida verse 35)
Now i quote a hadith in which Prophet S.A.W himself told the Sahabi to take Prophet S.A.W's waseela
"It was narrated from 'Uthman bin Hunaif that a blind man came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) and said: "Pray to Allah to heal me." Prophet S.A.W said: "If you wish to store your reward for the Hereafter, that is better, or if you wish, I will supplicate for you." He said: "Supplicate." So Prophet S.A.W told him to perform ablution and do it well, to pray two Rak'ah, and to say this supplication: "اللهم انى اسئلك و اتو جه اليك بنبيك محمد نبى الر حمة يامحمد انى قد تو جهت بك الى ربى بحا جتى هذه لتقضى اللهم شفعه فى (O Allah, I ask of You and I turn my face towards You by virtue of Muhammad ٍS.A.W the Prophet of mercy. O Muhammad, I have turned to my Lord by virtue of your intercession concerning this need of mine so that it may be met. " imam abu ishaq said hadith is sahih
(sunan ibn maja book of establishing prayer and its sunnah hadith #1385)
this hadith is also narrated by tirmidi and declared it Hassan sahih gharib
also narrated by imam nisae in amal yaum wal laila page 417
musnad imam ahmad ibn hanbal hadith # 17246
imam bukhari in his tareekh kabeer vol 6 p 209 biography #2192
      musnad e humaidi vol 1 page 308
      sahih ibn khuzaima vol 2 p 225
mustadrak imam hakim vol 1 p 449 and many other muhadteen has narrated this hadith

Sarfraz khan First of all you didnt try to understand hadith and started argument. Prophet S.A.W asked that blind man to do dua presenting waseela of Prophet S.A.W. I hope you will read the hadith again. than you said there are 3 types of waseela but the hadith i have presented clearly shows that blind man was told by the Prophet S.A.W to ask through his waseela what you will say about this?????
Secondly Prophets A.S are alive in their graves as Prophet PBUH said
الا نبيا احيا ء فى قبو رهم يصلون
this hadith is declared sahih by ibn hajr, imam beyhqi and many others including albani the person who urged wahabi creed to use word salafi with their name.
Thirdly let me quote a narration from the time of third caliph Usman ibn Affan R.A
"there was a person in need in the time of Usman ibn Affan R.A and Usman R.A didnt pay attention to it (due to his important caliphate works) he didnt looked in this matter. That person met Usman ibn Hunaif R.A and complained. Usman ibn hunaif R.A asked him to do wudu go to mosque offer two rakat prayer and say "O Allah, I ask of You and I turn my face towards You by virtue of Muhammad ٍS.A.W the Prophet of mercy. O Muhammad, I have turned to my Lord by virtue of your intercession concerning this need of mine so that it may be met" and say your need. that person did that than he went to door of Usman ibn Affan R.A the doorman came held his hand and took him to usman ibn Affan R.A He asked tell me your need and met his need. (maujam sagheer tibrani vol 1 page 306,307 maktaba islami beirut , dar ammar Oman) Imam Tibrani after narrating declare this hadith Sahih. this hadith is also narrated in (maujam kabeer vol 9 p 17, Majma uz zawaid vol 2, dalail un nabuwa bayhqi vol 6 p 167, shifa as siqam vol 1 p 370,)
IBN TAMIYA AL HARANI NARRATES THIS AND DECLARES IT SAHIH IN HIS BOOK "AL QAIDA AL JALILA FI TAWASAL WAL WASEEL" page 156
Now we have presented a hadith as you have demanded Alhamdulillah that is asking waseela after Prophet S.A.W passed into other world. I hope you will accept what Sahaba R.A used to practice

Zishan Amjad Zishan Amjad , sorry to say brother but really you are going in wrong direction ....The basic point is Prophet SAW is not alive in grave and he is dead and infact no prophet is alive in grave and secondly yes you can ask waseela from prophet SAW as long as he is alive just like asking some one to dua for them but once he or she is dead we cannot ask a dead person to dua instead of them ,same is the case with propeht SAW , as he is dead , we cannot ask Waseela of prophet SAW .Just dua directly to ALLAH and also its not mentioned anywhere in quran and hadiees about Waseela than why are you creating a bidath and misguidng other people. And see if you quote any hadith give quotations from strong hadiths like sahi bukari or sahi muslim .okay give any quote from sahi bukari or sahi muslim stating that waseela is allowed or stating that Propet SAW saying that I will be alive after my death in grave.Answer is you cannot give any such quote .And last why is "Ehsan Iqbal Qadiri " is trying so hard to popularize him self by defaming others ? If he is reallly a good scholar , he just does his business by giving dawah to others instead of uploading videos saying this guys failed to prove or that guy failed to prove ...it looks like he is trying to give ads about himself rather than giving Dawah..any way brother answer my questions please and lets make this discussion peacefully

Aslam Alekum. I do not understand why people are commenting in support of Dr Naik when HE is alive himself and the challenge was for him to answer the question. Now if any of his students or supporters are concerned why Dr Naik has not accepted the challenge or answered the questions then they should ask Dr Naik. Usually Dr Naik gives references but if someone challenges those references then it is his duty to clear the misunderstanding. I'm Sunni but I used to watch Dr Naik speeches but since he spoke in support of Yazeed I stopped watching them. This men Dr Naik is dangerous for common lay men. Aslam Alekum

converting people to Islam is not big deal but showing greater aqklaq(intelligence)which Allah azwajjal gave us is best....zakir naik was left speechless on wasila...then what will happen if anyone asks him about shafaath(intercession)?wasilah is not haram...if wasilah was haram then intercession would have not been to ummah of prophet Muhammad sallahu alehi wasallam....sorry to say there are many people in this world who say that they hate hadith(salafis)and some who don't love Rasoolallah sallahu alehi wasallam......please love the prophet and ask his wasilah....he will surely intercede for ummah....please be united my brothers....

+Mohammed Sabeel ..Mr.Zakir N. might be wrong one or two times BUT by now most realise that he is simply trying his best to spread Islamic teachings according to the Holy Koran & Sahih Hadees..Dont want to argue with u and YOUR opinion is your opinion BUT his good work has made many Muslim & non Muslims to seek the facts .....1).As for intercession by Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W.) ,,it is know that it will be possible on the day of Judgement..2) Surah Maida ::35 is used by sufi types as reference of waseela...It mentions seeeking of waseela (nearness or way) TO Allah ..HOW ?? by teachings of Holy Koran & teachings of Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W.) of course...No where in any such teachings is ther mentioned to makes graves of saints, peers permanent & to visit them annually and to decorate them...THIS way of nearness or way to ALLAH is what sufis & bidatis preach and if any one tries to explain the actual Islamicway they are hated.

My friend some times if one is wrong one time it can lead to a blunder especially with regard to Prophet peace be upon him. if there is a very minute disrespect even raising your voice very little over the voice of Prophet peace be upon him will cause once to lose all of his amals what ever he has done in this world making mosques, tabliq, zakat, sadqa, haj and salat he will find his pot empty on the day of judgement And what Allah says that he will not know that all of his amal are forfeited he will just go on thinking that I have done this I have done that And Allah says that they will not be guided to touba. And further Allah says Allah has selected the hearts of people who have respect for prophet peace be upon him for taqwa. Ref starting ayats of Surah fujirat.

    Here are these
There are 25 verses of Quran about prohibition of Waseelah as follows Prove is for who said 25 verses in the Holy Quran are not available
WHAT ARE THOSE 25 VERSES OF QURAN WHICH REJECTS WASEELAH FOR THE BELIEVERS ?
1, [Ana`am 6:51] And with this Quran warn those who fear, that they will be raised towards their Lord in a state when, except Allah, there will be no protector for them nor an intercessor, so that they may be pious.
2, [Baqarah 2:48] And fear the Day (of Resurrection) when no soul will be exchanged for another, nor will any intercession be accepted for the disbelievers, nor will they be set free in lieu of compensation nor will they be helped.
3, [Baqarah 2:123] And fear the day when no soul will be exchanged for another, nor will they be set free in lieu of compensation, nor will any intercession benefit the disbelievers, nor will they be helped.
4, [Baqarah 2:165] And some people create for themselves Gods (objects of worship) other than Allah, with devotion (love) equal to the devotion of Allah; and the believers do not love anybody with love equal to the love of Allah; and what will be their state, when the punishment will be before the eyes of the unjust (disbelievers)? For all power belongs wholly to Allah, and because Allah’s punishment is very severe.
[Baqarah 2:166] (The day) when the leaders will be disgusted with their followers - and they shall see their punishment, and all their links will be cut off.
[Baqarah 2:167] And the followers will say, "If we were to return (to earth), we would break off from them like they have broken off from us"; this is how Allah will show them their deeds as despair for them; and they will never come out from the fire (hell).
5, [Baqarah 2:254] O People who Believe! Spend in Allah's cause, from what We have provided you, before the advent of a day in which there is no trade, and for the disbelievers neither any friendship nor intercession; and the disbelievers themselves are the unjust.
[Baqarah 2:255] Allah - there is no God except Him; He is Alive (eternally, on His own) and the Upholder (keeps others established); He never feels drowsy nor does He sleep; to Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth; who is he that can intercede* with Him except by His command? He knows what is in front of them and what is behind them; and they do not achieve anything of His knowledge except what He wills; His Throne (of Sovereignty) encompasses the heavens and the earth; and it is not difficult for Him to guard them; and He is the Supreme, the Greatest. (This Verse is popularly known as Ayat Al-Kursi. It has a special status and reciting it carries great reward. *Prophet Mohammed “peace and blessings be upon him “ will be the first one to be granted the permission to intercede, others will follow.)
6, [Ana`am 6:70] And forsake those who have made their religion a mockery and play, and whom the worldly life has deceived - and advise them with this Quran so that a soul may not be seized for what it earns; other than Allah it will not have a protector nor an intercessor; and if it offers every recompense in exchange for itself, it will not be accepted from it; these are the ones who are seized for their own deeds; for them is boiling water to drink and a painful punishment, as a recompense of their disbelief. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessors.)
7, [Ana`am 6:93] Who is more unjust than one who fabricates lies against Allah or says, I have received divine inspiration, whereas he has not been inspired at all - and one who says, I will now reveal something similar to what Allah has sent down? And if you see when the unjust are in the throes of death and the angels are with their hands outstretched; (saying) Surrender your souls; this day you shall be given a disgraceful punishment - the recompense of your fabricating lies against Allah, and your scorning His signs.
[Ana`am 6:94] And indeed you (the disbelievers) have now come to Us alone as We had created you at first, and you have left behind you all the wealth and riches We had bestowed upon you; and We do not see your intercessors along with you, whom you claimed to possess a share in you; indeed the link between yourselves is cut off, and you have lost all what you contended.
8, [Yunus 10:1] Alif-Lam-Ra *; these are verses of the Book of wisdom. (*alphabets of the Arabic language; Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.)
[Yunus 10:2] Are people amazed that We have sent to a man among them, the divine revelation that "Warn the people and convey glad tidings to the believers that for them with their Lord is the place * of truth"? The disbelievers say, "Indeed he is an open magician." (* Positions of honour on the Day of Resurrection or in heaven.)
[Yunus 10:3] Indeed your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then (befitting His Majesty) , established Himself upon the Throne (of control) - He plans all matters; there is no intercessor except after His permission;* such is Allah, your Lord - therefore worship Him; so do you not ponder? ( * Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) will be the first to be granted permission to intercede.)
9, [Yunus 10:18] And they worship the thing other than Allah, which neither harms them nor benefits them , and they say, "These are our intercessors * before Allah"; say, "What! You inform Allah of something which in His knowledge does not exist in the heavens or in the earth?" Purity and Supremacy are to Him, above their association. (* Some things like the sun, stars, trees are useful but they too are created by Allah. Their worship will not benefit - in fact it is harmful ** Only the virtuous will be granted permission by Allah to intercede.)
10, [Yusuf 12:40] "You do not worship anything besides Him, but which are merely names coined by you and your forefathers - Allah has not sent down any proof regarding them; there is no command but that of Allah; He has commanded that you do not worship anyone except Him; this is the proper religion, but most people do not know."
11, [Ibrahim 14:21] They will all publicly come in the presence of Allah - then those who were weak will say to those who were the leaders, "We were your followers - is it possible for you to avert some of Allah’s punishment from us?" They will answer, "If Allah had guided us, we would have guided you; it is the same for us, whether we panic or patiently endure - we have no place of refuge." (* This conversation will take place between the disbelievers and their leaders.
[Ibrahim 14:22] And Satan will say when the matter has been decided, "Indeed Allah had given you a true promise - and the promise I gave you, I made it untrue to you; and I had no control over you except that I called you and you obeyed me; so do not accuse me, blame only yourselves; neither can I help you, nor can you help me; I have no concern with your ascribing me as a partner (to Allah); indeed for the unjust is a painful punishment."
12, [b/Israel 17:57] The devoted bondmen whom these disbelievers worship, themselves seek the means of proximity from their Lord, that who among them is the closest (to his Lord), and hope for His mercy and fear His punishment; indeed the punishment of your Lord is to be feared.
13, [Maryam 19:86] And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty.
[Maryam 19:87] People do not own the right to intercede, except those * who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him - will be the first to intercede.)
14, [Ta-Ha 20:109] On that day no ones intercession shall benefit except his to whom the Most Gracious has given permission and whose word He has liked. (The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him - will be the first to intercede.)
15, [Ambiya 21:26] And they said, “The Most Gracious has chosen a son” - Purity is to Him! In fact they are honourable bondmen.
[Ambiya 21:27] They do not speak before He has, and they act only at His command.
16, [Shua`ra 26:91] And hell will be revealed for the astray.
[Shua`ra 26:92] And it will be said to them, “Where are those whom you used to worship?”
[Shua`ra 26:93] “Instead of Allah? Will they help you or retaliate?”
[Shua`ra 26:94] So they and all the astray were flung into hell.
[Shua`ra 26:95] And all the armies of Iblis. (Satan)
[Shua`ra 26:96] And they will say, and they will be quarrelling in it:
[Shua`ra 26:97] “By oath of Allah , we were indeed in open error.”
[Shua`ra 26:98] “When we considered you equal to the Lord Of The Creation.”
[Shua`ra 26:99] “And none misled us but the guilty.”
[Shua`ra 26:100] “So now we do not have any intercessors.” (The believers shall have intercessors, the disbelievers none).
    [Shua`ra 26:101] “Nor a caring friend.”
[Shua`ra 26:102] “So if only were we to go back, in order to become Muslims!”
[Shua`ra 26:103] Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers.
16, [Qasas 28:62] On the day when He will call to them - He will therefore proclaim, “Where are those partners of Mine, whom you had assumed?”
[Qasas 28:63] Those against whom the Word will have proved true will say, “Our Lord! It is these whom we led astray; we led them astray the way we ourselves went astray; we are unconcerned with them and we incline towards You - they never worshipped us!”
[Qasas 28:64] And it will be said to them, “Call unto your ascribed partners” - so they will call unto them and they will not listen to them, and they will behold the punishment; if only they had obtained guidance!
17, [Saba 34:22] Proclaim, “Call those whom you assume (as Gods) besides Allah”; they do not own anything equal even to an atom either in the heavens or in the earth, nor do they have any share in them, nor is any one among them an aide to Allah.
[Saba 34:23] And intercession does not benefit before Him, except for one whom He permits; to the extent that when the fear is removed from their hearts by giving permission, they say to each other, “How splendidly has your Lord spoken!” They say, “All that He has proclaimed is the Truth; and He is the Supreme, the Great.”
18, [Fatir 35:12] And the two seas are not alike; this is sweet, very sweet and palatable - and this is salty, bitter; and from each you eat fresh meat and extract the ornament which you wear; and you see the ship cleaving through it, so that you may seek His munificence, and in some way become grateful.
[Fatir 35:13] He brings the night in a part of the day and He brings the day in a part of the night; and He has subjected the sun and moon; each one runs to its fixed term; such is Allah, your Lord - only His is the kingship; and those whom you worship instead of Him do not own even the husk of a date-seed.
19, [Yaa-Seen 36:22] “And what is the matter with me that I should not worship Him Who created me, whereas it is towards Him that you are to return?”
[Yaa-Seen 36:23] “What! Shall I appoint Gods other than Allah? So that if the Most Gracious should wish me any harm, their intercession would be of no use to me, nor would they be able to save me?”
20, [Zumar 39:43] What! Have they chosen intercessors against Allah? Proclaim, “What! Even if they do not own anything nor have any intelligence?”
[Zumar 39:44] Proclaim, “To Allah only* belongs all the intercession! For Him only is the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and then it is towards you have to return.” (*Allah does not intercede - He gives the permission to intercede with Him, to whomever He wills.)
[Zumar 39:45] And when Allah the One God is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter get constricted; and when others (false deities) besides Him are mentioned, they rejoice!
21, [Momin 40:47] And when they will quarrel amongst themselves in the fire, those who were weak will say to those who sought greatness, “We were your followers, so will you reduce from us some of the punishment of the fire?”
[Momin 40:48] Those who were proud will say, “We are all in the fire - indeed Allah has already passed the judgement among the bondmen.”
22, [Momin 40:73] It will then be said to them, “Where are the partners you used to appoint?” -
[Momin 40:74] “As rivals to Allah?” ; they will say, “We have lost them - in fact we never used to worship anything before!”; this is how Allah sends the disbelievers astray.
23, [Najm 53:23] They are nothing but some names that you have coined, you and your forefathers - Allah has not sent any proof for them; they follow only guesses and their own desires; whereas the guidance from their Lord has come to them.
24, [Najm 53:26] And many an angel is in the heavens, whose intercession does not benefit the least unless Allah gives permission for whomever He wills, and whom He likes.

      wa alaikumus salam.
waseela doesn't refer to a person. it refer to "means".
just look at the dua after adhan,
According to Bukhari, Tirmidhi, Sunan Ibn Majah & Sunan an-Nasa'i, dua after adhan is
      where it is stated that آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ [ give Muhammad(sm) waseela].
who is the waseela of Muhammad(sm) ???
do you have that anwser ???

Rihab Mohamed please quote where it is mentioned that seeking nearness by other means than prayer is not allowed???? is it mentioned in the verse???? or it is mentioned in hadees??? or is it mentioned by any trustworthy scholar??? or it is what you have made up to prove your point???? we are following famous scholars such as imam abu hanifa , imam shafi, ibn hajar asqalani, mulla ali qari, shah abdul haq muhadis dehalvi, abdul qadir jillani, imam boseri, allama jami, imam razi , imam tahawi, ibn abdeen shami and many other scholars. we all pray to Allah 5 times in the salah " the way of those on whom you have bestowed your grace" are the mentioned scholars are among those people or not??? than under this verse ibn kathir have mentioned an incident of an arabi who came to the grave of Rasool Allah S.A.W and through HIS S.A.W's waseela asked for forgiveness. bila ibn harita R.A companion of Rasool Allah S.A.W went to grave of Rasool Allah S.A.W seeking his waseela see musanaf ibn abi sheba vol 12 p 32 maktaba rashd publication riyad. after mentioning this hadees ibn hajar R.A says ibn abi shaiba has narrated this with sound chain of narration (fathul bari vol 2 p 495 dar ul marifa publishers beirut). now tell us whom you are following???? only your own assumption. may Allah guide us all

Zishan Amjad Brother in islam. Waseela is the "Rasool Allah himself" no doubt in that. But what are we trying to take out from all those incidents? tell me if waseela was the important thing, hadnt Rasool Allah taught us, or ask us to do so? There are many incidents which happened after Rasool Allah, Which our well known sahabi did. But do we all follow them? or are we here to follow sahaba or teaching of Rasool Allah and quran? You decide and let us know.
Now dont be kid and tell me that what all things sahaba did were "Sheriya" or "Teaching of Rasool Allah" or Mentioned in Quran". There are many deeds which sahaba did out of there love and hardness of loosing Rasool Allah... But those were their own action and Why you people try to make it as islam?? or part of Deen??
you people sitting at top declares that going to grave is permitted, just because a few sahabhi did once they dont mentioned that other sahabis like Abu bakr, Omar, Othman or Ali (R.A all of them) never did those actions when these four are called Rashideen (Rightly guided). more on, if that has to be done or taking waseela should be allowed then it has to stick to Rasool Allah only. Why you people drag it to other personalities ?? you take waseela of some wali allah or so? did it anywhere mention, that person was a wali in real? No offense But where did it mention that he was wali, any guarantee??? May be he was pious no doubt BUT WHY TO MAKE HIM WALI AND GO TO HIS GRAVE AND DO ALL WHICH IS NOT ALLOWED AND WHEN SOMEONE LIKE US ASK YOU NOT TO DO, THEN MENTION THAT SOME SAHABA DID IT.....I mean really???? Who are you following by the way?? Quran and sunnah..or just the deed of one of the sahabi who did it out of love or hardness??

desireble nitemare i dont know why wahabis are so dumb. they dont read and assume that Prophet S.A.W never taught waseela. i quote and hope that you will accept what Prophet S.A.W taught us
"It was narrated from 'Uthman bin Hunaif that a blind man came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) and said: "Pray to Allah to heal me." Prophet S.A.W said: "If you wish to store your reward for the Hereafter, that is better, or if you wish, I will supplicate for you." He said: "Supplicate." So Prophet S.A.W told him to perform ablution and do it well, to pray two Rak'ah, and to say this supplication: "اللهم انى اسئلك و اتو جه اليك بنبيك محمد نبى الر حمة يامحمد انى قد تو جهت بك الى ربى بحا جتى هذه لتقضى اللهم شفعه فى (O Allah, I ask of You and I turn my face towards You by virtue of Muhammad ٍS.A.W the Prophet of mercy.

It is a shame how everyone is trying to trip this man up who is doing such a good bringing people into the fold of Islam while his critics just fold their arms . If you want to justify making prayer request to the dead
Or the living or anyone else other than ALLAH SWT that's your choice . But just knowing that IT WAS NOT the tradition Sunna of The prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him to do so and that alone should be enough for you to stop this innovation .

      Brother.....salaams.
I wud like u to reapond if u read. One can have any talent like the one zakir has of photographic memory but it doesnt make one an authority of fiqh. Mashaallaah he is gud in comparative religion but fiqh is a science on its own.
Another very important issue....zakir has been challeenged for what he spoke. If he is genuine and gid fearing...let him answer or acknowledge his mistake. He wants to do neither. Where does that put him and where does that put you.

Wa alaikum Salam as for Dr. Naik being GOD-fearing is a question best left to GOD and as HE knows all hearts . But I believe a GOD-fearing man would not want to stand before ALLAH SWT in the ranks of the many christians , catholics , Hindus and other pagans on the day of judgment with the charge of hindering in any way this man who called people to the worship of ALLAH SWT .
All Enemies of Islam are waiting for him to admit that he is wrong so that they can exploit it and hinder men from the path of ALLAH SWT .

It seems to be a man who is bringing about a great deal of good I mean people all converting on the spot , surely you must see ALLAH'S hand in this and then you have a man who thinks he is bringing about a great deal of good by criticizing a man who is bringing about a great deal of good .

who are those people brother? can you explain this?
Point-2 :- "And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves." (Sura Fatir: 22)
    what about this ayaat bother?
Point-3 :- "So indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs, retreating." (Sura Ar-Rum : 52)

I have a question, even if Dr Zakir Naik is wrong here, then why people are showing so much hatred towards him saying he doesn't have eemaan, he is a liar, a deceiver, munafiq..... Didn't he help non Muslims and Muslims to understand Islam? Does Allah hate him? Is this the Muslim brotherhood?

Well in this topic and all the comments we can deduce that everyone is going about waseela etc..
Dear brothers and sisters , many of the commentors said wahabism blablbla and Ehle Sunnat zindabaad right ???
My first question what is wahabi?
    And what is ehle sunnat?
Many people also claimed "am pure sunii"!
Any verse from the Curan said called yourself a sunni or shia!????
Am proud to say am A Muslim and my religion is Islam!
Am neither a sunni nor shia because those jurisprudence led to division in Islam which is a bigger sin!
Ohhh people of the Ummah stop dividing yourself and go against eachother As we All pray ONE GOD ALLAAH AND WE HAD TESTIFIED THAT MUHAMMAD PBUH IS THIS MESSANGER!
NO muslim is a muslim without following the laws of Tawheed!
Make the research on the 3 laws of tawheed then u will find all your Answers!
Say no to sects in Islam !
Lets unite As one ummah !
Lets fight to keep this Islam ummah aabaad!
    Islam zindaabaad!
Now am hereby asked you a question all of you !
    What are you :
    1. A Muslim ( someone who submitted his will to Allaah)
    2. A sunni
    3. A shia
    4. Or other
    Please leave your answer !
    Think well!
Am not here to do debates but am hereby reqesting you all Follow Islam not the schools of laws !

No one can understand quran more than the sahabies if they have supplicated through someone else waseela it is permisabble or no one can say only allahu ahlam which is the haqq . If they dint do it it means its not permissable . If you say it was permissavle yet they dint do it than you are claiming that sahabies dont follow the entire quran . We might not follow but sahabies follow entire quran they try not to leave any guidens of allah (swt) unfollowed..and we are not in .00000000% matched to the eeman of the sahabies.. i am not claiming that i know everything if someone can quote me verse i will follow it.. and repent and become a good muslim please help me and quote..

    Dear brothers,
There are ever so many prayers in the Holy Quran and Sunna which is addressed directly to Allah Almighty alone. Those prayers itself show waseela is prohibited and it is a step forward to the unforgivable sin ie. shirk. Of course, when a pious person is alive we ask him to dua for us. When he is dead, the thing is different. Even though one do not call him by the name Allah when he seeks waseela or isthigaza, he is attributing to the 'awliya' or 'anbiya' some of the qualities of Allah like All knowing, All hearing etc. Isn't it shirk? So you and your followers, not Zakir Naik, have to repent for doing those innovations.
More over, why do you do waseela and isthigaza? I think it is to get your prayer be accepted easily. No other reason is seen. If it is the case why don't you make all duas which are mentioned in the Quran and Hadees like that? According to your argument if you put a clause 'by the baraqa of so and so' or you call the person himself instead of Allah, the possibility of accepting your prayer is more. Is n't it? Awaiting your reply. Ma assalam

+SunniDefender1453 Tawassul (supplicating to Allah in the name of …/by virtue of the status of…) is the supplications recited by a person. It is a kind of supplication. One can say, “I invoke You by Your Names.” This is a sort of Tawassul. Also, one may say, “I invoke You by my faith in You.” This is also a way of Tawassul. Here the Wasilah (the means of approach to Allah) is faith, piety and Allah’s Most Beautiful Names. You are the person practicing Tawassul. The Tawassul itself is your supplications. Wasilah refers to the words used in your supplications. When you say, “O Allah! I invoke You by Your Most Beautiful Names and Sublime Attributes to forgive me,” you are the person practicing Tawassul through this supplication. The Wasilah or the means of approach to Allah here is His Names and Attributes. Allah’s Names and Attributes are called Wasilah. This means that supplicating to Allah by His Names and Attributes is a sort of Wasilah. The wording of supplication is called Tawassul. It is a sort of supplicating to Allah by faith, by Allah’s Names and Attributes, or by one’s good ..you guys are onto shirk there are no qatai difinitive in meaning that the prophet pubh said when ever you supplicate to Allah you must go through me and you can't make direct connection with Allah ....

Second.., Zakir Bhai said the e-mail will answer. And this is not his answer to the question that is going to be answered right now. At the end, I say that he and the Prophet-Rasul should not answer the questions that he has to answer. He does not know the answer to all questions because he is a general student of Islam and other religions. He has already said that he does not know Arabic. So say that he is still on the way to Islam, so do not put videos like this why we are next to him as a friend. Md Afzal Hadith #15
Translation: Narrated Abu Hurayra I heard the Prophet say: "By the one in Whose hand is Abu al-Qasim's soul, "ISA IBN MARYAM SHALL DESCEND" as a just and wise ruler. He shall destroy the cross, slay the swine, eradicate discord and grudges, and money shall be offered to him but he will not accept it. Then he shall stand at my grave side and say: Ya Muhammad! and I will answer him. (Abu Ya`la relates it with a sound (sahih) chain in his Musnad Volume No. 11, Page No. 462, (Dar al-Ma'mun ed. 1407/1987)]; al-Haythami says in Majma` al-zawa'id (8:5), Chapter entitled: "`Isa ibn Maryam's Descent": "Its sub-narrators are the men of sound (sahih) hadith") Imam Nur ud-din al-Haythami (rah) said of that hadith:
رواه أبو يعلى ورجاله رجال الصحيح
Translation: It is Narrated by Abu Ya'la and "ALL ITS RIJAAL ARE THOSE OF SAHIH" [Majma az Zawaid Volume 8, Page No. 387, Hadith No. 13813]
Abdur Rahim al-Mubarakpori (Among the Authentic Scholar for Salafi School of Thought)
Imam Qadhi Shawkani's (rah) writes: Regarding what those who forbid tawassul to Allah through the Prophets (Peace Be Upon Him) and the Saint's cite to support their position, such as Allah's sayings: "We only worship them in order that they may bring us nearer" (39:3) and "Do not call on any other god with Allah, or you will be among those who will be punished" (26:213) and "Say: Call on those besides Him whom ye fancy; they have no power to remove your trouble from you or to change them. Those unto whom they cry seek for themselves the means of approach to their Lord, which of them shall be the nearest; they hope for His mercy and fear His wrath: for the wrath of thy Lord is something to take heed of" (17:57) These verses are irrelevant. Rather: they support exactly the reverse of what the objectors to tawassul claim, since the verses are related to another issue. To wit: the verse "We only worship them in order that they may bring us nearer" explicitly states that they worship them for that purpose, “whereas the one who makes Tawassul through a scholar, for example, never worships him, but knows that he has a special distinction (maziyya) before Allah for being a carrier of knowledge; and that is why he uses him as a means”. Similarly irrelevant to the issue is Allah's saying: "Do not call on any other god with Allah." This verse forbids that one should call upon another together with Allah, as if saying: “"O Allah and O So-and-so." However, the one who makes tawassul through a scholar, for example, never calls upon other than Allah. He only seeks a means to Him through the excellent works that one of His servants achieved, just as the three men in the cave who were blocked by the rock used their good works as a means to have their petition answered”. Similarly irrelevant to the issue is Allah's saying: "Those unto whom they cry..." for it refers to people who call upon those who cannot fulfill their request, at the same time not calling upon Allah Who can; whereas one who makes tawassul through a scholar, for example, never called except upon Allah, and none other besides Him. The above shows the reader that these objectors to tawassul are bringing forth evidence that is irrelevant to the issue at hand.Even more irrelevant is their citing of the verse: "The Day when no soul shall have power to do anything for another: for the Command, that Day, will be all with Allah." (82:19) For that noble verse contains nothing more than the fact that Allah alone decides everything on the Day of Judgment, and that none other will have any say at that time. However, the maker of tawassul through one of the Prophets (Peace Be Upon Him) or one of the scholars, never believes that the one through whom he makes tawassul is in partnership with Allah on the Day of Judgment! Whoever believes such a thing in relation to a Prophet or non-Prophet is in manifest error. Equally irrelevant is their objection to tawassul by citing the verses: "Not for you is the decision in the least" (3:128) "Say: I have no power over over good or harm to myself except as Allah wills" (7:188) for these two verses are explicit in that the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) has no say in Allah's decision and that he has no power to benefit or harm himself in the least, let alone someone else: but there is nothing in those two verses to prevent Tawassul through him or any other of the Prophets or Friends of Allah or scholars.
Allah has given His Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) the Exalted Station (al-maqam al-mahmud) -- the station of the Great Intercession (al-shafa`a al-`uzma), and He has instructed creation to ask for that station for him and to request his intercession, and He said to him: "Ask and you shall be granted what you asked! Intercede and you shall be granted what you interceded for!" And in His Book He has made this dependence on the fact that there is no intercession except by His leave, and that none shall possess it except those whom He pleases... Md Afzal am Ibn Hajr al Haythami (rah) wrote a "WHOLE BOOK" on virtues of visiting the grave of Prophet (Peace be upon him) in it he writes:
Amongst the evil deeds of Ibn Taymiyyah, something which nobody before him in this world proclaimed is his rejection of Istighatha (Beseeching for help) and Tawassul through Prophet (salalallaho alaihi wasalam). This Tawassul through Prophet (salallaho alaihi wassalam) is Hassan (fair) in all conditions whether before his creation (i.e. him being sent to the world), after it (i.e. his death), also in this world and on Day of Judgment.

Md Afzal Hadith # 12
It is narrated by Anas bin Malik. He said: When the mother of ‘Ali bin Abu Talib - Fatimah bint Asad bin Hashim - died, Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) called on her and sat down by the head of the bed and said, “O dear mother, may Allah have mercy on you. After my mother, you were the one I regarded as my mother. When I was hungry you fed me to the point of saturation while you yourself remained hungry. Then you helped me put on clothes and instead of eating yourself, you gave me nice things to eat. You did all this for Allah’s pleasure and for a good reward in the Hereafter.” Then he (the Prophet) commanded to bathe her three times. When camphor water was brought, Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) poured some water into his hands. Then Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) took off his shirt and clothed her with it and used his own sheet of cloth as her coffin. Then Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) sent for Usamah bin Zayd, Abu Ayyub al-Ansari and ‘Umar bin al-Khattab and the negro slave to dig up the grave. So they dug her grave. When they reached near the lahd, Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) dug it up and drew the soil out with his own hands. When he finished, Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) entered and lay down in (the grave), and said, “It is Allah Who controls life and death, and He is Ever living and will never die. (O Allah,) forgive my mother-Fatimah bint Asad- and help her answer properly at the time of questioning and through the mediation of Your Prophet (Muhammad) and the former prophets, make her grave capacious. Surely You are infinitely Merciful.” Then he repeated, “God is Great” four times (i.e. led the funeral prayer). Then he, ‘Abbas and Abu Bakr as-Siddiq lowered her into the grave.

Md Afzal As it is reported by ‘Amr bin Shu‘ayb that his grandfather says: we were present in the company of the holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) when messengers from Hawāzin tribe came and said: O Muhammad! We belong to the same origin and tribe, and the trouble we are facing is not hidden from you, therefore, have mercy on us. The holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) replied: opt one of the two choices; either take away your property and wealth or have your women freed. They opted for their women and children. Then the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) added: as far as my share and the share of ‘Abd-ul-Muttalib and his children (in the spoils) is concerned, I have already given it to you. But when I have performed the noon prayer, you should all stand up and say:
"Through the means of the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) we seek help for our women and children from believers (or Muslims)"
The narrator says that when people had finished their prayer, they repeated the same words as the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) had advised them.

      Md Afzal Hadith # 10
It is attributed to ‘Abdullāh bin Mas‘ūd that the Holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is reported to have said:
My life is blissful for you because you hear traditions from people and relate them to others and my death is also blissful for you because your deeds will be presented to me. If I see the virtues prevail, I will be grateful to Allah, and if I see the vices prevail, I will pray for your forgiveness from Allah.

It has been endorsed by Khafājī and Mullā ‘Alī Qārī in their commentaries on ash-Shifā, i.e. Nasīm-ur-riyād (1:102) and Sharh ash-Shifā (1:36) respectively.
►Hadith-scholar Ibn-ul-Jawzī has reproduced it in al-Wafā bi-ahwāl-il-mustafā (2:809-10) from Bakr bin ‘Abdullāh and Anas bin Mālik.
