One my favorite bands ever...Cy is an intelligent and insightful lyric writer the combination of these guys was such a great match of amazing musicians and writers...thank you guys for the songs that still resonate today
Just love this band and these guys .Fantastic band and always first class songwriting! Plus having met them all twice ,they are equally as nice as this possibly even more ,very down to Earth humble lads!
Six years later did you get to see them live? I hope you did ,I've seen them about 5 times always excellent live and very receptive to their fans ,great lads!
When asked how they would like The Fixx to be remembered, Cy: "bloody brilliant!". That's how they've been thought of for years already so mission accomplished!.

She asks him how do you keep your marriage stable? He answers put a board under the mattress! Funny! I Love a Good British Dry Wit! Then he says that his mothers French and his Fathers British so he’s a mix and enjoys the mixed culture of America! I didn’t know that but that’s true! We are a mix of many cultures creating something new. A melange of sorts that just works somehow. For example, I watched a program where a Korean American chef who had a food truck business make Tacos 🌮 with Shrimp 🍤 and Soy Sauce amongst other ingredients and the public is wild about them! That kind of Cultural mix of Cuisine could only happen in America which makes it special!
It's interesting seeing this interview. It was right around the beginning of Grunge. The Fixx had achieved most of their commercial success already. Both guys (especially Jamie) seem uncomfortable doing interviews. The Fixx received high popularity but I think their shyness might have held them back. You look at the Fixx and compare them to bands like U2 and The Police. They had big personaliities. Shyness hindered their growth I believe.
I agree with you, because it would be interesting if Cy would be hired from Hollywood, CA to play the part of Hope Estrella Feelgood-Potter-Malfoy-Riddle's made up dad, Grant Alex Feelgood who's an English half-blooded wizard. 👍🏻s up if you agree.
The Fixx and Reach the Beach are still 2 of my all time favs and I love how she's the most annoying interviewer/host with a lisp that tweaks your ears yet somehow she had her own show....
Somebody sang about the dark side of the moon she says lol. Like she didn’t drive around on hot summer nights in the 70’s getting stoned and listening to Pink Floyd on 8 track lol

Just saw them this past November in Orlando here at the Hard Rock and they put on one hell of a show!! Quality talent
