It's one of my favs! I Grew up on the Fixx. There's a lot of Great songs they have. I end up using everyday. To express myself. Or.. portray the understanding I have for someone.
The 80s. The buzzing streets. The neon lights. The clubs. The music. The hair. The freedom. The denim. The leather. Coming of age. The high. Oh, the memories.

This band and it's music got me through high school, especially this song, and Facing the Wind. Staring out of a third story window, listening and wondering about life.

Rupert Hines has so many outstanding productions in his portfolio. He changed the landscape of music since the late 70s and on. He brought color and warmth to it. He is greatly missed.
This was so nice in concert. Wow. Now that I'm much much older 😅😅😅 I appreciate it more. Adult contemporary music lol.😊😊 now that it's 2024😮😮😮😅😅😅 oh man. L ol
The Fixx just might be the greatest under appreciated band ever. They should be selling out arenas like DM and TFF. With that being said, I’m happy that I get to see them perform in a more intimate setting and the boys don’t seem to mind that they have a dedicated audience albeit one smaller than some other groups.
This is by far my favorite Fixx song and thank you for allowing us to play this...

I should have given Phantoms more listens back in '84. I was crazy about their first two albums, but disappointed when this one came out. Listening now, I don't understand why...this is fantastic! Thanks for uploading this extended version.

I remember seeing the fix on Jupiter they didn't recognize me why were they right they didn't know who I was and I probably wouldn't shouldn't be saying this because someone might come by and his name is Vinny I'm not supposed to talk about the fix and was it Jupiter but anyway it was a great concert later I got to talk to the whole band of course they found it to be word salad but guess what very polite and I admire that and they spoke wisdom cuz now I can speak to him cuz we're both ancient and old but yet like in the twenties and confused people but we just anyway I remember we were attacked by another planet and he's you know these create whatever they were were slicing people up and the only ones can save us with the band The fix they started playing and guess what happened they fell their knees started crying and then they had the technology but everyone back and they apologized hi they don't want me to tell the story because they're modest I don't care anymore okay I got to go back to the okay where am I taxi not very funny put an attempt of a joke but seriously the wind is blowing and I like that it's a hot day but a cold day and I'm listening to the fix I'm going to say this I tell Jesus this is kind of my favorite band well I'm getting that mystic thing going so strange everything's hold of but our destination is up to our own decisions in the end he said that my words do not condemn or condemn so it's up to you and also he got mad at Peter said stop thinking as people do think it's God does and we all say it is what it is and that's the best I can do so bless everyone if that hurts someone I'm sorry I'm trying and if you visit another country and they're sincerely trying to welcome you and have you healthy body and peace of mind you get mad at him but someone like me says bless you with with the love of God beyond my understanding I really love the fix and I wish everyone eternal peace I believe it's heaven but whatever right we're here now stop the fighting and I'll pray May the war and Ukraine and everything it's important because I can't understand everything he fixed in its time and I say and God's time and whatever they say it's time all creation agrees regardless what's good for this Earth regardless of who they believe in it's common sense but I profess Jesus is My Savior but I profess All creations are my brothers and sisters and I don't want to punch you in your face and I don't want to make you slave and I don't want to a witch Hunt it has to be said and everything has to be stopped and it will stop and cooperation with all creation

I'v never understood how this kind of version is really realized. Does the band play all the sounds and rearrange the song? or someone else (a dj) remixes the original with new effects or instruments. Is there anyone that can answer?
The band was not involved in the remixes, usually just me experimenting with what was on the tapes, adding effects, atmosphere
and editing - just having lots of fun!! SWTx
