Assalam O Alaikum Dr. Qadhi, I hope you are reading this. Last year I stumble on to your Quran tafseer lecture series and since then my life has changed completely or as you often say there has been a paradigm shift. My religiosity has increased and my understanding on deen has a far better narrative. I used to pray, read Quran and make duas earlier too but I never thought of bigger picture, it was more of a daily routine task. Going through your lecture series has made be figure out what Islam actually is and why we do what we are told to do by Allah SWT and our beloved Prophet PBUH. Even after living in a society that is full of haram I find myself comfortable and content all the time. I now despise haram not because its forbidden but because it would drive me away from my religion. I sincerely thank you for all your contribution Dr. Qadhi.
MashAllah experienced the same with with life of Sahaba. Could you share the link of the lectures you are talking about? I want to meet Dr Yasir one day and thank him personally. I hope he reads this comment.

Assalaam Alaykum. Very very important topic. It should discussed in all platforms. Greed is what motivates countries to invade other countries. It is what leading wars and hatred on our global village. May Allah protect us from the disease of excessive greed, jealousy and hatred.
I mostly see this argument used for NOT trying or NOT doing something properly. YQ maybe could do a follow-up addressing that misunderstanding. Thank you for everything you do, you're a blessing to the Muslims. May Allah swt protect and bless you.

Sheikh Says we cant change our RIzq as its Qadr. I understand Duaa can change Qadr like we make duaa for rizq, additional income. What is the point of dua if it cant change Qadr and grant us more?
