I love these old school videos so much! So much nostalgia! I also personally think that besides the nostalgia factor, older cards were so much more unique and had cooler effects than most of the stuff since black and white got released with tons of repeated attacks like Keldeo ex's attack or Mewtwo ex's attack being slightly tweaked and put on a ridiculous number of cards
I'm going to add my voice to all the others asking for some matches played with these old school decks. I would love to see these these decks in action.
You do these profiles about the decks but why not make videos of playing 2 old decks against each other so we can get a better understanding of how the deck plays.
Do you ever build any completely Unlimited decks? Using a mix of cards from Base to Crimson Invasion? That's what I like to do. I was planning decks around my favorite Pokemon, but I was soon at around 36 decks and decided I needed to draw the line somewhere. So now, I'm building 8 decks around the 8 Eeveelutions, with my favorite Pokemon of each respective type as the extra attacker in that deck. My trainer engine is fairly Standard, with a bit of Expanded. And my oldest card is from EX Legend Maker. I know I'm able to use the old broken trainers from Base-Neo, but I don't know, I just don't like that way to play. Originally, I planned to play the old 'people cards' as Supporters, as they should be, and the 'items' as Items. I'd still rather use Lysandre over Gust of Wind just for 'fairness' sake.
You should mention that this deck nearly faults to a Fossil Muk. With Muk evolving not only does the Steelix "fall off" from Ninetails when Muk hits the fiels, you are also not able to evolve it back due to Ninteails Power being shut off. Its still protected from energy removal though but you are now forced to attack with scyther and tyrouge and hopefully kill 1 or even 2 Muks. Its not the most fun interaction but Muk is cetainly one of the strongest cards in Unlimited (and also Base-Neo) that it would be cool to have a way to kill Muk more efficiently (or just play 1 Southern Island Onix as a failsafe). Nevertheless cool video. :)
I know, right? It would be so much better, Brock's Onix has 100HP, I don't get why the deck is built this way. I could understand it if Ninetales had other targets to evolve into, but like this it makes no sense.

I really like this series! The old decks are so cool, i wish i knew how to play when I was a kid instead of just collecting lol
Would Base Set Dodrio\Doduo not be better than Scyther in this deck, since Retreat Aid would help you move Steelix around if necessary?

Not sure if it has been mentioned below, but Houndour removes all trainer cards attached to the defending pokemon with Plunder!

I just figured it out: Steelix can't evolve from Brock's Onix. Onix and Brock's Onix are technically different Pokemon in the TCG.
