Mike, I want one of the new baggers just as much as you do; they're fast, fuel efficient and more comfortable, and the colors are the best they've had since 2018. Out here on the left coast the '24 baggers and '23 CVOs are clogging up the showroom floors and they're selling below msrp. If there is a color that you need to have, then the time to get it is when it is available new, I know this because I didn't buy that Hard Candy Custom Hot Rod Red Road King Special back in 2018. That being said there is so much stock on the floor that I think you can get the color that you want and a good price if you wait a month or two until the upcoming 2025s force the prices down even more. This is a good time to buy, but next month will be better, because there is more stock on the floor than there was last year.
Good Luck Mike. The only point I would make is, I have a '08 Ultra in White Gold Pearl/ Black pearl. The white is terrible for showing insects and their different colored guts. I have to pretty much wash it after every ride.

Not buying any new Harley due to less quality in fit and finish for more money. Add the fact they went woke and want to move production overseas is a huge red flag for me. That’s just me though so if you don’t care about those things then good luck with the new bike. They are beautiful
Trade in value is below retail value cause they have to resell it for a profit. I can guarantee I call sell it privately for more than they offered me for trade in…
@RidingintheOzarks A bike with 74k miles has a very limited market, and as a result it will have to be priced accordingly. The very limited buyer for this has to budget for costs not associated with a 20k bike. a Harley dealer will not retail it, and will most likely end up at auction. Now if it was a Honda Goldwing or BMW GS , RT mileage is less relivant, but still a factor.

I hope so too!
You do know that TEDDY MORSE also have a huge dealership in DAYTONA BEACH FLA....
I’m well aware that he bought the dealership in Daytona as well as owning dealerships in Texas.
Unpopular in the internet comparison culture... but I'd keep the 2016 you poured all the money and love into. Payments suck, lol.
Sorry but I want a 2024, I probably should have never ridden one but once I did...
@@RidingintheOzarks i hear ya. Here's to your new scoot! 👍😎
The "upgrades" needed for a new Harley touring bike are ridiculous. I own a Road King, and it has always had a terrible ride. There is absolutely no way possible to upgrade the factory ride quality of my Gold Wing DCT Tour as it cannot possibly ride any better.
so, get on your gw and ride away
Dude If you can swing it and it makes ya happy go for it. Life’s short
With so many low milage used bikes for sale out there ( for 1/2 the price or less) why anybody would by a new bike is beyond me
Have you ridden a 2024 Touring model yet? Could I wait and buy a Used one... sure but I am financially irresponsible apparently.
@@RidingintheOzarks My newest bike (one of three) is a 2014 Hertiage. I have no interest in anything newer
That's a heap of miles, Brother.
I still had kids in school when I bought the bike now that we have an empty nest it’s just gonna get more miles per year.
Hey, Man Mountain Mike, roll with the bird im hand brother. You are obviously connected with that dealership.
Smokin Deal doesn’t even come close to describing the numbers.
the stock harley suspensions are all shit i have a 2015 road glide i replaced mine a week after i bought it now they have made some changes but they are still no better i bought the legends they worked very nice when they are new but both ends fell apart after 10 kim if your 2016 is set up the way you like and running good trouble free hang on to it harley has a recall right now for 46000 bikes and they are having growing pains with the new motors
Not buying any new Harley due to less quality in fit and finish for more money. Add the fact they went woke and want to move production overseas is a huge red flag for me. That’s just me though so if you don’t care about those things then good luck with the new bike. They are beautiful
You go where the lowest price is, sell your bike for trade in value, that's all it's worth.
@ I get it and I get it has to be priced accordingly for the mileage but if I can’t sell it for more than they offered then I will keep it. I’m not giving it way either.
@@RidingintheOzarks Agree, you will still enjoy it.
@@checker3694 i will just ride it till I get what I want to motor goes and drop an S&S in. Luckily I can afford the new one without selling it so I’m not in bad spot.
Sorry I would never buy from an automotive ownership like Morse. There so many better places to buy from. I travel & stop at dealerships & you can really tell the differences with staff & prices.
Well I can tell you they are beating any price I have been quoted so far. I judge people on how they treat me and so far it has been great. They have only been owned by Morse for a few weeks and the staff and customer service is the same as it has been when they were owned by the previous owners. Regardless of what we like I am seeing a trend of more and more bug groups owning dealerships.
@@RidingintheOzarks was the bike at MSRP to start with?
@@shane8493 my friend bought a Tobacco Fade LRST there in September and I think it started above but they had some options on it already and he wanted audio added. When he was done he got a good deal on it. In the end what matters is where you end not where you start. I know an MSRP dealer that’s lower but won’t do as much on trades.
Of course the dealer wants you to buy now
He isn’t pressuring me, I contacted him. I think based on deals and incentives now is a good time to buy
Wait
How much money did dude get to make this video?
I have it on good authority the answer is Zero. My opinion is not for sale.
Teddy Morse Daytona has the most rude, arrogant employees. I hope your dealership, Renegade HD he owns in MO is better and not the culture of this owner. I would never spend money with Teddy Morse.
@@jagjr6772 the employees and culture have not changed since he bought it. Hopefully Daytona gets turned around, the old GM of Black Hills was just hired to run Daytona a few weeks ago
@@RidingintheOzarks That’s positive to hear. Teddy Morse is one of these huge automotive groups buying up Harley Davidson dealerships and it looks like anything else they can get their $$ on. I fear a trend that is not good for us as motorcycle customers. Only time will tell.
I'm paying 2.9 per cent interest on my 21 road glide limited. No way will I pay these crazy interest rates. Trump 2024😮
Buy a Harley no thanks
No. @neverHDagain
