Also the reason one would get “brown” from PokeBerry is if the heat is too high. You don’t want it to boil; not even really simmer… But you can definitely play with the colors based off heat, vinegar types/amounts, as well as water types/amounts.
Thanks so much Chris! Great to connect with you! We have gotten a beautiful periwinkle color from the pokeweed also. So fun! We are nearly 3 years on this land and it’s been great getting to know it. I’ll be on the look out for what we could use to make Pink. Know my daughter would love that too! Blessings ✨✨
@@biancavelez7626 idk how you ended up getting periwinkle out of it 😅 but that’s awesome in its own way 💙 You don’t happen to remember how you made that batch, do you? PS: So glad you’re starting a relationship with your land 😌 It’s so important! It’s so healing.. In fact a wise elder once said, “Pay attention to the plants on your land. Mother {Earth} gifts you exactly what _you_ need, when you need it - be it physically or mentally. Pay attention.” 💙 It’s cool cause I have a very intimate relationship with my land (& the surrounding flora & fauna). So when something new pops up that hasn’t been there once in the last 20 years, I pay attention. In fact this pokeberry came on my property last year & I’m building a relationship with her as we speak 😇
Kinda bummed that one of the key steps (prepping fabric to receive the dye) was somewhere else “in another link” _elsewhere_😵💫 Also (constructive feedback 🫶🏻) maybe a little less talking about it; and a little more doing/showing? Cause the “day 2” clip was essentially pointless 😥 It had no genuine info to add, didn’t show us anything… 💔
I laughed at frank when she was smashing the berries lol
