Well done on getting through the Drones as well as you did. Kaiden and Tali have lots of abilities that are good against Geth and drones. A few things things you may consider. 1 - First Aid/Medical mods for squad mate armour, this will allow them to regain health like you do. 2 - Weapon ammo mods. Swap them to suit the enemy you are fighting. Shredder mods for organic enemies, armour piercing or later tungsten rounds for Geth or drones. they are other ammo types which are also useful. Do it for all squad mates. 3 - The assault rifle. Fire in short bursts. This will slow down the overheating and also continuous fire reduces accuracy. If you overheat a weapon it take longer to cooldown rather than burst pause, burst pause and you will land more hits. When you get better assault rifles and fit mods that benefit cooling this will become less of an issue. 4 - You inventory is not bottomless. Start choosing better weapon/armour/mods for you and your squad mates and sell the rest that you do not need to buy better weapons/armour/mods. Good armour for Tali is very hard to find. 5 - Look to upgrade biotic for Kaiden/Liara/Wrex and omni-tools for Kaiden/Liara/Garus. This will allow them bonuses with their powers. You may need to do some of these thing as enemies level up with you and mini-bosses and bosses will be getting tougher. These things would be necessities on higher difficulties. If the fights start to stress you out apply what you feel you need to.
One of the reasons why your romance(s) seem to be progressing so fast this early in the game is because they are linked to your progress through the main story missions, and you've done two of those already. If you want the romance to progress more slowly, try doing more side missions (i.e. the Assignments) in between the main missions. For info, almost every star system has at least one planet you can land on, and pretty much every planet you can land on has a side mission, so there are far more Assignments to do than you currently have in your Journal.
@davida.j.berner776 haha good point! It just seems like a lot but that does make sense. Thanks for letting me know about the planets! I kinda of figured that might be the case 😊
ME1 romances are RELENTLESS. As for the turians. Basically, when humans started using the mass relays, they've breached some Сouncil law that thet haven't been aware of (or of the existence of aliens for that matter). Turians led a devastating attack without any negotiation, crushing the human forces and bombarding settlements with orbital debris, wiping out entire city blocks. The council stepped in eventually, but the tension between two species haven't died ever since.
Never seen anyone fight the drones the way you did! Great strategy! ME1 is very sticky about romance---and you have already opened two. Before the end, the game will force a decision. The VI on Luna plays through the entire trilogy. Many minor characters make cameo appearances and give small amounts of XP in later games (like Helena Blake). But sometimes they give more substantial bonuses. Dead is permanently gone.
Good conversation with Ashley 😊. I saw a vid with her voice actor. I thought it was funny when she mentioned that she hates poetry 😂. She also does voices on "Steven Universe".
I love Mass Effect 1 and it is probably my favorite game, but the romance options come at you in a comically fast way lol. Also, as others will probably say, you are not locked into anyone as a romance option at this point.
They are not wasting any time to get to know Shepard, if you know what I'm saying haha I do get it that it's hard to have a preference when you barely know these people but to be fair you've completed two main story missions which is almost a third of the main story so they're just being a bit proactive 😆🤣 there's always the option of not having anyone to romance but since you've been playing both sides I think you're locked-in with either now lol It was funny how you went back to Kaidan to check if he had heard the news yet, they do love to gossip on the Normandy haha 🤣🤣 I did enjoy the conversation topics more this episode though, my favorite was probably Tali's since we've all had those times of missing simple things that we take for granted. And yeah the "renegade" options are always so hilarious, Shepard can be so savage btw since nobody has mentioned it, on the Galaxy Map there's an "Asteroid X57" location marked that's never mentioned in the game until you visit it because it's DLC, it can be done whenever but it has considerable length, almost like a main mission length (1-2 hours).
haha yeah that makes sense, I just wasnt even expecting to deal with any romance plots and then game is like WHAM! PICK! 🤣🤣 I still have no idea who to chose lol. I think talking to the crew is my favorite part of the game so far. All the crew members are so diverse and have such amazing backstories and thoughts. It really shows how much thought they put into this game. ohhhh I had no idea about that! Thank you!! Does it matter when I do that area or should I save it for the end of the game??
@@KahliPlaysGames yeah agreed haha! I guess they didn't know how to smoothly build it over that you just have your crew be very upfront about it 😆🤣 and also you're right that both are very similar which makes it harder to choose so I don't blame you maybe there's still have time to think it over lol And yeah! I love talking to the crew all the time lol the writing is amazing for all of them, even the side characters! What the exogeni dude said on the last episode of "all of the colonists would forget about this planet" was wild af and I don't think I've heard that line before which is awesome As for the Asteroid X57 mission, I think this game doesn't have a "continue after the end of the game" thing and you instead get returned to the moment before finishing the game so I'd say definitely try to do it sometime before the final mission if you want to do it. I think it's kind of obvious when you're starting the final mission so I'd leave that up to you 😜
@Ghaladd haha dude that line was insane! I was like what umm excuse me!?! And sweet good to know. I'll try to tackle when I do side quests next. Maybe after noveria 😊
Yes the game does go pretty extreme with rommance. When I first played I didn't rommance either candidate. You don't have to rommance anyone if you don't want to just have to pay attention on the way you answer his/her questions. The reason I say pay attention, because the game will jam the information down your throat if you are not careful.
Liara is the best character to romance... in my opinion for both female and male shepard.... Liara is the perfect match for Shepard as she is more feminine energy leaning which complete Shepard who is more masculine... Kaidan is too boring as character to me lol, i much prefer Garrus as a man to romance compared to Kaidan ... but of course is my personal take
@@KahliPlaysGames I'm late, but if you don't really wanna romance anyone, you also have the option to not go for anyone, I didn't pick anyone in the first game haha. The romance options in the other games are much better imo

good job on picking the two squad mates designed to kick robot ass. to go on the mission where you have to go kick robot ass on the moon

Do other missions/ side ones first.
