I always find the origin story dependent quest with Talitha is one of the distressing in any game because it feels so like something of the real world.
The Mindoir origin quest with Talitha hits me in the gut every time I play through it or see someone else play through it. It is a great quest, but dang it is also an emotional one. It was great seeing your Shepard tell Rear Admiral Karen to get stuffed though!
I sobbed the first time I met Talitha. I didn't have an easy childhood, but compared to her story, mine was a walk in the park. I'm so glad Shepard hugged her ❤️
I love the uniqueness of dialogues and outcomes in this game. For example 35:33 you can get the quest early and the asari will lie to you that her sister is being held captive.
Great episode! I’m so glad you told off that Admiral. I have an irrational hatred for him for some reason. The mission with the former slave is actually the one exclusive mission you get because of your sole survivor background. So if you had picked a different background you would not have gotten this mission. Noveria can be long if you do absolutely everything. I’d guess 90 minutes. But you might not necessarily do absolutely everything. There are some super minor side questions that give you so little money that they might as well just not pay you at all.
Great episode. It was fun to see the interaction with the rear admiral. I tend to go full paragon for that one for the most part, so it was great to see a different interaction play out. I think I like that one better than the one I tend to play. Might have to go more renegade next time. xD And yeah, the Talitha mission is heartbreaking. It always hits me in the feels, and I think it's the best done mission that is tied to your Shepard's backstory. It adds a lot of context and potential trauma to what Shepard went through if they are from Mindoir themselves.
@Lomenar_Games thank you! Yeah being savage to the admiral was a lot of fun 🤣 I agree, that mission was so sad but interesting to see another side of our past.
@ 28:24 thank you, I always wondered why I never saw Thalita in my playthroughs , now I know that you only meet Talitha if you start Shep with a colonist origin
Ashley: Not sure about aliens. She's racist! Presley: I'm not sure about aliens. Oh, another racist! Palin: I don't trust humans. That's fair Kaiden: I was never big on alien culture. Nobody even bats an eye
Yesss, I loved that Admiral interaction haha, he always comes off extremely rude and I get the military animosity but we're all space buddies here, no need for your ass Also I'm glad you got to get the full Citadel experience of delivering bad news and getting interviewed 🤣🤣 I think it's fine if the people know Saren's gone rogue, he doesn't have much time left anyways Yeah the Talitha mission is always heartwrenching it's amazing what you accomplish with good writing and voice acting. I was feeling pretty sad myself definitely one of the best missions that connect past Shepard with the current situation. 29:10 even if that guy disagreed that line was badass lol I'm enjoying where your Shepard gets savage and great! you have most of the dialogue options already open! Now you can be as good or as savage as you wish to be Another good episode, I love visiting the citadel and hear the companions talking on the elevator lol any crumbs of interaction between the team is great to me. (that guy suddenty showing up and stopping at the end was funny 😜42:45 )
Hahah boy insulted my ship!! How dare he Lol the Citadel is such a crazy place! I never know what to expect. I already want to go back again after noveria just to see if any other quests pop up. That mission was so sad. I agree, this game has amazing story telling and voice actors. It's so clear that the creators put a lot of thought into this game. Heck yea!! I'm so excited to be extra savage now 😂😂 also, same. I especially like it with wrex because he is always so salty Hahah that guy at the end was itching for a fight 😂 he bumped into me and made intense eye contact the whole time 😂😂😂
@@KahliPlaysGames hahaha yeah! I expected him to be saltier but it’s fine, he still walked away he’s just lucky we’re in Citadel Space. And yeah just going around the citadel is a vibe! The council is probably wondering if the newly appointed human spectre was really needed for setting up squabbles but I’m still getting credits and the PR
It is odd that SPECTERS are technically secret agents doing underhanded/quasi legal jobs for the Council yet reporters come up to you and ask what your current mission is. "I remember me" is both my favorite and most disturbing side quest in ME1, none of the other background of service histories come close.
honestly, it's easier to just do every planet's surface as you are there. usually you never return to them anyway, at least in my experience, plus the rewards you get from Deposits scales with your level. so you want to climb that level tree quickly regardless. wouldn't mind cutting it out if nothing interesting happens, though.
@@captainmuddynofearghail1985 gotcha sounds good. I might just explore the planets on my own to get all the sidequests and just travel back to do some of those sidequests with you all :)
@@KahliPlaysGames most of what you'll find on planet's surfaces will just be collectibles.but it does give you money and XP. and sometimes it's done kinda nicely, to make you think "i wonder what happened here .."
First time I have seen someone blow an Admiral off! Well done!
Wrex is your grumpy uncle but you love him none the less!
hahah he shoudlnt have insulted our ship! 🤣 so true about Wrex
@@KahliPlaysGames Indeed no one should insult the Normandy, the finest hero ship in sci fi.
