I have checked multiple sources, not just MSM, and it's pretty clear what the facts are. The original story on facebook that got this whole thing started was by a woman who has since apologized, stating she was wrong. The woman whose cat was missing found it in her own cellar days later, alive and well. Vance has said on more than one occasion on TV (please check it out if you still insist on what the truth is) that he made up most of what he has said to help further his political narrative about immigrants. In fact, even though he has been informed by multiple sources, including the mayor of Springfield, that these people are legal immigrants invited to the city to help fill jobs that were necessary to help spur their economy, Vance insists on sputtering his fear-mongering lies. So, the truth is pretty clear to see. What I want to know is why MAGA chases down every empty rabbit hole that is fabricated by someone who seems to have no other interest other than dividing people. The challenges in Springfield has to do with a city in decline that invested in new industry and didn’t have enough citizens to fill the new jobs. Whether it was Haitian or US Citizens coming there to get those jobs, the city infrastructure was overwhelmed by having to support more people getting those jobs. Immigration is irrelevant as a cause for Springfield’s growing pains. Racism however is the cause of the rumors and hate about people who are legally permitted to be there and that local businesses are grateful that they are.
Springfield OH had a population of 85,000 but they have been losing population over the last few decades and were down to an aging 50,000 -they were going to lose Federal funding and government representation so they invited the Haitians. If they came from Norway we wouldn't be hearing about them.

I have checked multiple sources, not just MSM, and it's pretty clear what the facts are. The original story on facebook that got this whole thing started was by a woman who has since apologized, stating she was wrong. The woman whose cat was missing found it in her own cellar days later, alive and well. Vance has said on more than one occasion on TV (please check it out if you still insist on what the truth is) that he made up most of what he has said to help further his political narrative about immigrants. In fact, even though he has been informed by multiple sources, including the mayor of Springfield, that these people are legal immigrants invited to the city to help fill jobs that were necessary to help spur their economy, Vance insists on sputtering his fear-mongering lies. So, the truth is pretty clear to see. What I want to know is why MAGA chases down every empty rabbit hole that is fabricated by someone who seems to have no other interest other than dividing people. After 9 years of this crap, aren't you tired of this? Believe or not, this is not normal. I have been following politics for many decades, and things were not always like this. Time to move on.

Wow. This is why no one can afford to buy houses. This is why gas is so expensive. This is why food is unaffordable. Her policies make no sense. Cut taxes and give 6k for newborns, 25k for first time home buyers and 50k for small businesses. Well if we cut takes who is paying for all that free money? The Ohio local news reports indicate the " one missing cat report " was filed turned out the cat owner found the animal in the home basement and apologized to her Haitian neighbour for wrongfully suspecting them of stealing the cat initially.

The challenges in Springfield has to do with a city in decline that invested in new industry and didn’t have enough citizens to fill the new jobs. Whether it was Haitian or US Citizens coming there to get those jobs, the city infrastructure was overwhelmed by having to support more people getting those jobs. Immigration is irrelevant as a cause for Springfield’s growing pains. Racism however is the cause of the rumors and hate about people who are legally permitted to be there and that local businesses are grateful that they are.
Springfield OH had a population of 85,000 but they have been losing population over the last few decades and were down to an aging 50,000 -they were going to lose Federal funding and government representation so they invited the Haitians. If they came from Norway we wouldn't be hearing about them.

In America especially, where local taxes seem to have to cover everything. The cut back, re-invigorate economy is cyclical, always playing catch up. He just flat out took the rumor and stated it as a truth, and refuses to withdraw the claim. So Salem's argument makes no sense at all.
