    Thanks for addressing the waste gate issue, I’ve been a Toyota owner since the 70’s and have always enjoyed the reliability.

    Nice video and a beautiful backdrop at the beginning. I'm getting a very similar truck in the SR5 trim. Looking forward to it.

    Thank you for the review. Very straightforward and comprehensive, you provided me information that I wasn't sure about and this helped clear things up. I'm looking forward to what you do for modifications. Now I'm really looking forward to getting mine in March, making the leap from a 2006 Tundra. I have a near identical build to yours and it's great to see that blueprint color and how the MTM and PVM work.

      Congrats! The camera system is pretty cool... I plan on another video in the near future that covers that in more depth.

      When did you order yours? Just curious on delivery time. I ordered mine yesterday

    Just finished jamming through your tundra vids, thanks for such an awesome set of reviews. I'll be keeping an eye out for you in the greater Bend area, currently on the waitlist for this exact build with the hybrid. Cheers!

    After seeing this video in full I’m sure Toyota Corporation would pay you to take this Tundra video off of U-Tube. If I was even remotely thinking about buying a New Tundra you talked me out of it .👍 Thank-You😀

    With the Limited TRD package, a lot of people are thinking these tires are the Falken A/T3W’s. The tires on this package are the A/T3WA’s - a cheaper, “street focused” all terrain. I’m not saying that these tires aren’t good off road, but they’re not quite the A/T3W’s that many are associating these with.

    • @DrivenCompanion
      @DrivenCompanion  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah I would recommend upgrading to anyone planning on real off-roading but for a stock tire they're still pretty good!

    • @bradanglin527
      @bradanglin527 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s what I’m doing! While mine isn’t a limited I’m going with 295/70/18 A/T3W’s on some method wheels!

    Great video - love your attention to detail. Question - how does the tailgate release function work? Do you always need to have an unlocked tailgate? Or is it auto-unlocking as you walk up to the truck and press the button? Also, does the keyfob unlock the tailgate or just remotely opens it? It'd be helpful if you could do a video on these!
    Thanks in advance!

    That is a great video! Thank you. I have watched some of your other content on the new tundra. I have a question about the different suspensions. Obviously the Trd off-road will be better off-road. How about on road driving. How does the Trd off-road compared to the stock suspension or the adaptive variable suspension?

    Just ordered a 1794 today with the TRD pro package. Hoping it comes sooner rather than later. How long have others waited?

    The design doesn’t bother me. The truck should have an awd / 4A mode for those of us who drive in a lot of winter conditions. If they added it as an option, I’d probably get the Toyota.

    Awesome job! Thanks. What’s the difference in price between your limited Tundra and a comparable Dodge, Ford or Chev ?

    • @Arcticfox7
      @Arcticfox7 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Same as Chevy. Dodge and Ford are more expensive.

    Weird that the cab side D-rings tie downs are sprayed over but the gate side are not.

    How are the Premium headlights do they light it up pretty good at night?

    Cab size is smaller even though the truck is bigger outside. The double cab is ridiculously small!!!

    Actually, you can get in SR-5 2022 Tundra TRD sport package and TRD of road....

    Toyota not putting in 1. Tow Hooks 2. Auto 4x4 is a deal buster for me. Otherwise I'd get one.

    Nice detailed review. Doesn't look like there's a temp gauge for transmission which my '07 Tundra TRD Off Road has. Disappointing.

  • @wasappeningvato

    After showing your truck, it doesn't look mid range, I don't think it can get more loaded than that I have not seen your specific model in the sixty range, more like lower to mid $70s + mark ups....

    So you're impressed with the heated steering wheel? Other reviews have been less that stelar. I'm hoping their's are not the norm.

    • @DrivenCompanion
      @DrivenCompanion  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree its not the most impressive heated steering wheel in terms of output but I still like that it is heated.

    WTH the Priceline of New Tundra it should Never be only I think it’s Growing On Me. Toyota blew their chance, they had plenty of time to get it right.👎. It’s Ugly Plain and Simple👎

  • @officialyasir

    So much cheap plastic everywhere, inside and out! Even bumpers look all plasticky, yuck! Hard pass!

    • @officialyasir
      @officialyasir 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @WomenHateShortMen I am comparing it to the vehicles in its class like the new F150 and RAM 1500, both of which have steel bumpers, tow hooks, and interiors with much better quality of plastics.

    • @andyham6094
      @andyham6094 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@officialyasir not sure about the f150 and tundra but drove a bronco and the plastics in that were pure garage and just bad quality top to bottom compared to my 4runner. I’ll have to sit in the new tundra and see how it is but from my experience Toyota has always done a pretty good job with plastic interiors not feeling cheap.

  • @RunE076

    It’s just so fugly, and cheap plastic almost everywhere
