Hey Kelsey! Of those choices, I like the Cream and sugar better for the Hawaiian 🌺. It is a really pretty pattern! I will be attending my first retreat in October and I am going by myself. 😬 I’m excited but nervous! I’m sure you all will have a blast at Disney! Hot tip for Audio books… if you have a kindle or even an old phone to listen on, you can put it on airplane mode after it is downloaded. The book won’t “disappear” until you turn airplane mode back off.

I have done the airplane mode trick before, I just don't have any extra devices sitting around... luckily I didn't have to wait too long and I wasn't too bothered by it.
Lovely stitching. You’re about the third or fourth flosstuber that has mentioned the throne of glass books. Maybe I should go look at them as I enjoy books that I can get my teeth in to and I also enjoy series as opposed to single books as I feel the character evolution is less rushed - I hate it though when I’ve gotten attached to a character and they’re killed off, especially when it does nothing to progress the story.
Thank you! Throne of glass is a pretty popular series. I think some of them are told from other characters pov of things happening parallel to the other books. I think there is a suggested reading order but I’m just going in the order they were published. I do love a series because I want to stay in the world forever, but sometimes a single book is heaven!
I recently finished my first counted cross stitch and Markup kept saying I had a ton of stitches to do. So I figured out that because the pattern had 2 versions, one color and one not, it counted each version separately. So basically doubled the stitches. 🤪 Love the WIPs!
Yay for a finish! And I thought maybe that was the case, but there is only one page and it's not counting like the blank space around the pattern I don't think. It will just annoy me when I'm done it doesn't say 100%!
@@x-stitchandchill exactly!! It bugged me too so is had to go scribble all over the 2nd page. 😂😂 (it was a very small one I did for my first), and I’m going to be starting a HAED soon. 😂

Hey! I have had the same issue with markup and finally found the answer on their fb group. If you hold down the markup pen (the one that you use to check off stitches) a screen comes up and the markup pen says erase. I’d bet there will be a ton of pink squares everywhere. These are the “stitches” that the app thinks you still have. If you erase them you’ll be back to the correct number! I have done this and it does make me feel good to see 100% but it happened to a piece I just finished and there were almost 4000 stitches I would have had to erase. I ignored them and called it done! 😅 Hope this works for you! Enjoyed the video as always - especially the puppy sighting 😀

Sadly, it is not variegated! It’s actually just DMC and changes every 5 stitches! It’s a slog but it looks so good!
