My favorite part about the Predator Helios is just how big it is. It embraces it's size, doesn't shy away from being heavy, and is built accordingly. It doesn't feel cheap at all unlike a lot of high end laptops on the market that are made to be as thin as possible. Only if Acer could figure out a better cooling solution would this be near the top. I had one of these, the 4080 variant and it's temperatures were awful regardless of what I did. I didn't think of this before I traded it in but check put the Mobo voltages. If they are set too high that would explain the temps.
I agree with you, despite of using Liquid Metal on cpu and fans which goes upto 6600 rpm .. thermals are avg.. and I’m not sure if Acer allow undervolting of CPU in rtx 4080 variant.. I did review of Predator which comes with 14700hx rtx 4060 .. it didn’t have undervolt option in bios :(

Mine was awful, jumping up to nearly 110c when opening Unreal Engine. I've never seen anything like that with other laptops. Maybe mine was just bad. If it isn't the motherboard voltages being too high I have one other theory that involves poor system optimization. That can happen if your system is maladjusted. I know that on my Strix G18, if I do something dumb in Intel XTU I can get extremely low bengmarks coupled with premature, really high temps. Though when I undervolt and tune my system correctly I am getting nearly 34,000 point in R23 multicore while never exceeding 95c (that is GREAT for laptops.) Edit, yeah undervolt/overclock is locked with the Predator. No kdea why they do that. It's dumb.

IPS bleed .. all laptops which comes ips display technology has back light bleed .. when display screen is completely black you will see glow up due to ips bleed .. its present in almost all ips panel laptop .can be more or less depending upon how they sealed the display .. it can vary unit to unit

Got one, but the speaker quality is garbage, my s24 ultra sound output is better, done tweaking but still below standard for me. other than that everything is great.
