- Everybody has things they want to accomplish for me tackling this particular river was a dream of mine which started a few years ago now. I dreamt of gold nuggets sitting in deep pools of water never discovered because of the remoteness of this place, rich gold deposits hiding away below the surface.
Join me on a four day prospecting journey as I discover the largest gold discovery I’ve ever found. The most remote sniping trip I’ve ever unlocked, 17kms of river a 42kilometre return trip through steep gorges, waterfalls, log jams and some of the steepest country I've ever hiked through. Sitting here at my old dead van, under a copse of 70 foot Douglas Fir trees. It is cold as hell, the air is thick with mist can’t see 100 meters, 38f freezing my bollocks off and loving every minute of this adventure! You are a lucky Bass Turd, but you work your ass off for it, and I feel honored to get to see you doing it! Very much looking forward to part two!

That is really something else, Levi. Even the ironstone looks beautifully polished and lovely. And some of the ordinary river gravels look like they'd be amazing polished up and set as a cabochon... Thanks for taking us along on the trip.

Tasmania has the most unique shaped gold. It looks like splatters and sprays of elongated droplets. And yes, gold is found in the prettiest places!

Hello Levi! This is your best video so far. I love the mixture off different aspects you put in, like your actual work but also the life around it, the history around your locations and most stunning for me as someone from europe, this unbelievable treasure of nature you have down there. With every video I can see you getting better at just everything, camera work, editing, narrating and so on. What startet as some shaky underwater videos where you found some gold has become high quality adventure documentaries I only want to watch on big screens. Please keep this up incredible work and I wish you the best of luck in finding more treasure for real AND for your and all our minds!
I think with this video you have become my favourite Prospecting channel on TH-cam *.* The sheer amount of pieces in some of the closeups is just so insane xDD Plus everywhere in between theres Osmiridium. Don't worry about some shots not being perfect. If you have footage as astounding as your video here, it could be 240p and I still would watch it, because it so unique and impressive. Of course there are other very good channels here on TH-cam regarding prospecting, but your landscape and yield of Gold is second to none!! Very impressive! Thank you very much for sharing your experiences.
